Which canidate do you think will win the primary and face off in 2008?
As for me, I'm predicting Clinton vs. Giuliani

Most likely:
Clinton vs. Giuiliani
Possible:
Clinton vs. Romney
If Clinton bites the dust:
Obama vs. Giuliani
or
Obama vs. Romney
Yay, Obama won. Let's thank his supporters:
-The compliant mainstream media for their pro-Obama propaganda.
-Black Panthers for their intimidation of voters.

LOL
Two Democrats can't both be nominees for President. They can't run against each other in the general election because they belong to the same party, and the party will only issue one nomination.
Obama or Clinton would have to run as an Independent for that to happen. Plus, it wouldn't just be Obama vs. Clinton because there would still be a Republican presidential nominee, so there would be 3 candidates.
Yay, Obama won. Let's thank his supporters:

Personally, I think it will be Obama (Democrat) vs. Giuliani (Republican) vs. some 3rd candidate (Independent).
I say Obama for the Democrats because Clinton has a heck of a lot of people who really hate her, and Edwards has been out of politics for a while, so he may not be able to run a cutting-edge campaign.
I say Giuliani for the Republicans because he's established himself as the "official" national security candidate, since he was Mayor of New York during & after the 9/11 tragedy. Fred Thompson seems to have more recent experience as a television actor than as a politician, Mitt Romney comes off as too artificial, John McCain has too many money problems, and Ron Paul, despite being popular on the internet and having hordes of activists, seems to have almost NO support in the Republican Party, which is the one thing he'd need to win the nomination.
I say there would be a strong third-party candidate for two reasons.
1) Thousands of Christian fundamentalists think that Giuliani is too much like a Democrat--a few prominent ones have already threatened to vote third-party if he gets nominated.
2) Ron Paul probably won't get the Republican nomination, but his supporters OUTSIDE the Republican party are too numerous to pass into obscurity. I could see him and his supporters endorsing a third-party candidate after the Republicans nominate somebody radically differnt from Ron Paul.

(For the record, this isn't necessarily what I want to see, it's just what I think is going to happen.)

i hope hillary wins for one reason only, seeing the look on those arab nation leaders that will eventually have to meet with the presedent and that think women are inferiour. Not to mention having to address her with respect, as if she was a man.

Yeah, the race or gender of a new president means history has been changed in a "great" way.

Wow. Someone doesn't belong in the Politics Forum.
Anyways, I am 90% certain that it's a Hillary / Giuliani cage match a year from now. What I'd really like to see, though, is Obama in place of Hillary, with maybe Hillary or Edwards as VP.
I think that ticket would be unbeatable by the Republican lineup.
And despite what you guys seem to think about Hillary being hated by so many people, she is also ardently supported by an equal, and perhaps greater faction that is often left unmentioned. Early polls put her up to 10 percentage points ahead of all republican candidates in some cases.

Same for me but I really really wish/hope that Gore would put his name in the hat. I think he would be the best candidate and would win again this year( because he truly won in 2000).

I think Al Gore should run again.
After all that "Inconvenient Truth" shit, I think he'd make a strong campaign.
Also, he just might whip the U.S. into shape, and start signing that Kyoto Accord.

I think Ron Paul should run on an independent platform because he would be more effective as he is sure to lose the primaries.
My likely prediction is Clinton vs Giuliani and he would win the presidency.

Clinton could win I really think she has the credibility only as long as these past convictions of getting money from corrupt people don't continue.

If the Middle East keeps improving like it is now, the democrats can kiss their asses goodbye.

My guess is guliani Vs. Clinton.
As long as clinton doesn't express her opinions, or her plans, or her solutions, or talk about the issues in any way; she is probably going to win.

I'm seeing a lot of Clinton v. Giuliani. I never thought that was all that likely, but oh, God, let it be true!
For, you see, Giuliani is more or less my ideal candidate, but I'd actually like Clinton to win the Democratic primary, but not actually win. If she won the primary, perhaps it would spur more able women to run for President. The first woman president will be a great social milestone for this country, but that doesn't mean we should settle for the first thing with a vagina to walk up to a podium.
