I almost agree with you, yet I don't like Clock Crew either. They use the stupid computer voices, have bad writing, and aren't funny or entertaining in any way, shape, or form to me. I've never seen a clock crew flash I've liked. I just can't get into them.

Now we need someone like that, someone to blam KK spam and force them to stop spamming, the way Ki1o stopped the CC spam and, through sheer power and pressure to avoid blams, forced the Clocks to make good movies rather than garbge, and turned the Clocks into the group we all know and love today. But where will we find our Ki1o, willing to risk his future reputation to protect the Portal?

Your right, that is one thing clubs like the KK are good for. Without them, how would we increase our whistle status and earn blam points?

But we don't get many blam points. Most of their stuff gets passed, because of CRMV and protect whores. That's why I said that older users should probably get involved with protecting the Portal against KK. That's why I said that the anti-spam crowd needs a Ki1o-type protector of the NG Portal, with high voting power and a will to protect innocent NGers from spam.

What do we know? We're fairly new to Ng. From what I heard the Kitty Krew use to actually make good flash. I know hard to believe huh? But by the time we signed up, the KK had already turned into a spam group. The occasional good/fairly decent flash does come from the KK sometimes. But oh well. Most recent users just pass the spam. They are just focused on becoming a better stat whore. The older users with high Voting Powers aren't setting a good example for newcomers. So that's my new feeling.

Nope. Basically spam from day one. And day one was the day they submitted the Kitty Seckings Collab. Back then it was just Kes (now BigFuzzyKitten), Lasse (whose deletion from the KK, once she lost any interest in remaining with them, is now a YouTube video posted by one "infernoXR", here known as Reaperssythe), and Seel. It was Kes's idea, of course. He wanted to sign up as BigHairyPussy for his KK alt, the name he was using to spam some shitty anime/fantasy site because one of the members was being a jerk on NG, but an admin changed it to BigFuzzyKitten. They made that intentionally bad (but still kinda funny, in a "How the Bitch Stole Christmas" way) submission, and soon were spamming the hell out of the Portal. So basically, it was spam from the start, and it just got worse.

pardon me for having an opinion, my good sir. No, I don't like Clock Crew stuff, and I don't like stuff about lots of dicks, sooo that'd be quite a few of Tom's stuff. I think a lot of his stuff is awesome, and I think he's quite talented, but that doesn't mean I have to love and worship everything he makes. It's not like your account will get deleted if you say you don't like an admins creation.

I understand your reasons for disliking the CC, but the fact is, I, along with what seems to be the majority of current NG users, disagree. Like them or not, the Clocks have become so established as Newgrounds icons that they are the gold standard to which all groups on Newgrounds are held, whether serious contributors such as their former enemies (now their friends) the Lock Legion, or spam groups such as the Kitty Krew. Seriously, I don't know of a single Newgrounds user, other than those who just come here once to deposit a single flash or two and then leave forever, who doesn't know of the Clock Crew, who has never seen a drawing of StrawberryClock, who has never heard of B. Even now, with so many other Flash groups and artists on NG, the other groups are all just clones, and some of the best of these artists would probably be just as content depositing their stuff elsewhere, so long as they're creating. I can imagine seeing a LegendaryFrog or an Adam Phillips spring up on other Flash-based websites. But the Clocks are Newgrounds' own, and their legacy is so inextricably tied to Newgrounds that I can't imagine the Clock Crew becoming primary contributors anywhere else.

Yes, BFK, perhaps you consider it trendy, based on the amount of hate you get from dudes like me who don't want to see the NG Flash Portal become complete and utter garbage. But it is not just a trend. While groups spam, they get huge amounts of hate. You probably see the abusive reviews for KK-related spam movies. The Clock Crew got similar hatred from many anti-Clocks while they still spammed. The hatred subsided when the spam stopped. When the spam stopped, even Ki1o eventually stopped hating the Clock Crew. Slowly die? No. The Lock Legion just got a new website these last cuple of months, the Kitty Krew keeps getting their garbage through the Portal, and the Star Syndicate's Daily Day is responsible for at least 20 of my current protect points. So I don't think that the spin-offs, the wannabes, or the knock-offs are going "to the barn where they SLOWLY DIE" at all. They're thriving.

Some of them are slowly dieing though. Like the UZI crew or Angry Badger, who I think is hilarious, but yes, Lock Legion And The ORLY Owl group and all those others that make collections are thriving.

While all of you give some good reasons that KK has some talented people, I feel that they shouldn't spend their time meddling with such a failure spam group as the Kitty Krew. Those talented bunch, in my opinion, should be Clocks, or Stars at the very least. And although it is a shame that spam passes and even takes portal awards that they don't even come close to deserve, it will never end until Newgrounds wakes up and realizes what they are giving passing votes on.

Yes, most of the AKK movies are quite living up to what they actually should be, but you have to give us credit; we are actually committed to stopping the centerpiece of Portal spam today. I, too, was tired of them marking my reviews abusive just because they were either rated 0 or telling the brutally honest truth (which is why I posted in my News about my New Way to Review). But we have to set limits to what we want to see and what we don't want to see by voting 0 on spam. Otherwise, if we leave it, it will pass, and even worse, get portal awards in return for such lackluster effort.

We can't let this happen. If we rise to the occasion, we could all be Ki1os of 2008 (I don't say 2007 because it's way late to stop the spam in December).

I hope we arent by 2008 lol.

Yes, Oldskoolkammy, that is a good idea. Instead of one Ki1o, why not ten or a hundred or a thousand? Surely numerous NGers assuming the mantle of Ki1o would be helpful, after all, movies only remain under judgment for a few hours at most, and not all NGers are around at all hours when the KK would submit a movie. In fact, with the growth in both numbers of Newgrounders and of votes needed to leave the Judgment Zone, many Ki1os may even be necessary for the protection of the Portal.

But we must also remember the story of Ki1o after the Clock Crew stopped their spamming and became good animators. The prejudices of Ki1o continued, and since he had great power, he continued to blam CC movies, though they were no longer the garbage he had come to hate. Ki1o had stopped being the Hero of Newgrounds, and become its great villain. It was not until his ban that he seriously examined his prejudices, actually watched a recent Clock movie, that he understood that the CC no longer spammed. We must be like him in greatness and in will to blam crew-related spam flashes, but we must also be fair in our votes of 0. We must never succumb to the forces of prejudice against the Kitty Krew, lest they grow up and the population of Newgrounds not notice until many quality movies have been blammed. If we do such a thing, we will be remembered poorly, as Ki1o is. But if we force spam from the Portal fairly, we shall be remembered...

In 2003 or so, you submitted a flash to NG, which started the original Lock Legion. This flash showed you killing StrawberryClock (possibly with the Key of Glorton?), and implied (although it said nothing, since it was just a single MS Paint picture with a Bee Gees song in the background) that you had become the new King of the Portal. These original Locks ended up dying out after you stopped making flash, and faded away sometime in 03. Somewhere between that first flash and the original group's death, you found time to submit "N!!!!", which, although the 100,000th submission to the Portal (and therefore a landmark in Newgrounds history), was blammed. The day this was submitted came to be known as Lock Day.

Later, Banana (who I've heard was a former Clock) got mad at the Clock Crew, and then found your flash. He took the name of the group that you founded as his own, and pretended that it was the resurrection of your defunct Lock Legion, though it was, back then, just a bunch of flamers who hated the Clocks, and is now almost indistinguishable from the CC, except by the replacement of the clock face with a keyhole. It is his group that lives on as today's Lock Legion, although they are not the true Lock Legion which you founded (though many of them probably believe that they are). Because they believe that they are indeed Locks, they continue to celebrate the submission of N every year on May 26.

Before you say something like "you cannot understand the Lock Legion" or something like that, know this: I'm only trying to get my facts straight, as far as an outsider can go, since that's what I am, an outsider.
