why don't you get more points?

my lvl will never reach 60 but why don't you get 10 points every time you vote on 5 posts? I mean if you vote on 10 posts in the same day wouldn't it make sense to give 20 points out not 10?

I don't think so. I can see the allure of reaching a high level; but the whole point of the levels system is to reward loyal and active members. Such members are mainly rewarded with something that allows them to assist the site - voting power. So a member with a high experience level gains prestige and feels powerful, while the site benefits from their loyalty. If the requirements for levels were lower - and that's basically what you're suggesting - then high levels would be less to aspire to.

Not only that, but the FAQ appears to suggest that unless someone hits Level 60 at the same time as him, he'll be the only one who can ever reach it.

Not only that but people would write scripts to vote on random submissions for hours on end (gaining high experience without fairly judging submissions), or worse, use the resulting power to protect spam crew Flashes. (As if that's not a problem already.) Allowing people to get as much experience as they want in a day defeats the purpouse of having the level system in the first place.
