I've encountered some problems on various sites where some advertisements fail to load, and just says "loading" at the bottom, but this has never actually meant anything for the functionality of the website as a whole... maybe you have some problems with your dns, try refreshing it by start->run->cmd->ipconfig /flushdns
I'm betting it is a problem with the nameserver your isp is supplying which somehow blocks or suspends socket transactions between you and a certain host or hostmask
but then again... I don't really know :P have you tried any other browsers?

This has happened to me too. I click a topic link, then left for a few hours and when I came back the page was still loading. Who's your ISP?

Hmmm... same is happening to me at the moment on my laptop... Seems like there is some problem with the flash component... I have troubles with the following websites :
www.wow-europe.com
www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath
and newgrounds
those are the ones I've tested
Thing is, I'm currently on the same net as my workstation, and the workstation works fine
which has a much older version of flash
(note : I don't play wow anymore, I just needed a cool background for my new laptop)

Those sites work fine for me, and I should have the latest Flash version.
