It seems although Bush has fucked up so many times, namly a huge deficit, driving people out of jobs, and a finished war where americans won't stop dying to name afew. Yet it seems no democrat will be able to defeat him. Now I want to know, why is this. Does anyone know why Bush seems to have already won next years election, yet he hasn't done anything to deserve it.

the reason that it seams as if bush has already won the 2004 elections is that in spite of his massive failures in office, there is no one to oppose him. there is no unity within the democratic party, there is no one man (or woman) the oppozition can stand behind. it is not that people necessairly want him to win (i sure as hell dont) but that people dont know who else they want to win.

wrong...
hiliary clinton would be guaranteed to win the presidency if it were held today...
BUT we still have 16 months left so lets wait to declare either side the winner yet

I don't really know who will win. He has fucked up in office but plenty of president's have. He will win because the Democratic party is having trouble getting their act together. I don't mean this in a degrading way, I just say it because I'm agreeing with the person up above me on this post.

When Al Sharpton tries to get a bid for the presidency with your party, that's when you know your party is in danger.

Hillary Clinton will be running in 2008.
As of right now, the best hope of the Democratic party to regain the Presidency is to do one of these two things:
1. Fall in line behind poll-friendly Howard Dean, combining the remaining 8 candidates' political backing into one massive Democratic juggernaut.
2. Try and convince Al "Recount" Gore to get back in on the deal, since people seem to like him more four years later.
