Well since everyone is posting, I figured I'd post my concept, and my progress too. This is my concept sketch of what I plan on doing.

This is what I have going, you can see a reference I'm using in the back hahaha. I will be posting more picture on my blog soon.

Yes good, so I'm not the only one who figured the arms should be in front. It never actually occurred to me that the arms were supposed to be folded behind the figure's back. If the things weren't so damn asexual, maybe I would have sorted it out.

Also, mine looks like Bomberman HURRAY.

Started line work today. My hands are so shaky. it sucks. I don't know if i should just order another and start over. Do something else. What do you guys think so far?

more detail. i could just stick with this design. We'll see how it turns out when I'm done. Anyone have ideas on how this could be improved?

Also, i'm using that little camera on my Mac book so the quality is terrible.

i got discouraged when i realized i could have used clay and made it really cool.
but i think i'm enjoying adding more and more detail now. i started to think of how cool it would be if i made a sonic the hedgehog munny with clay additions. gah.

Looks great. You should consider putting him on a clay stand of some sort.. i know a few people are doing it. I being one of em.

They aren't Munny's and they certainly aren't anything really as cute as WZLs but it's a similar concept and the designs are definitely beautiful.

If it won't help you on this project it's certainly a worthwhile link. Check it out.

I like it, but what I think you should do is get bits of cardboard, cut the shapes of the armour into them, then stick them onto the munny. I think that would look brilliant if done right, and a lot more worthwhile of your munny idea.

dude. ur right. i'm about to use the actual box the munny came in for the armor. it's a perfect thickness. this will be amazing.

Here's what i have so far. Taped on for concept. I'll paint it and then glue it to the munny.

I think you should try and cut and fold the card to get the right shape. It'd be class if you got it right. Will take a lot of trial and error beforehand though.

how bout the lines on his faceplate. should i add them?

I finished the base colors.

Still to do:
-Black outlines around colored areas
-Dirt and filth marks
-Gloss around helmet, gloves, boots, goggles
-Felt mustache
-Metal badge/belt buckle
-Drink celebratory beer
-Taunt minorites

ok...i started from scratch. this is just the clay covering of the "munny"
leaving it to dry over night, and maybe use some sandpaper to smooth it out? (can i do that?)

my camera is acting funky today. that's why the picture is so fuzzy.

looks kinda like ET. nice clay work.

The armor looks alot better with a slight 3D effect. I've also replaced the belt waist section with a piece. What do u think?

I am LOVING the armor, although the roundness of head still kind of keeps that "cute" factor, which is nice. If you added the helmet armor that would be pretty redonk but I'm not sure it'll be better. I guess it's worth it a shot, but good luck...I think you'll need it.

I also LOVE the Blockhead paintings. I'll admit I hated blockhead to begin with. I thought it was a cop out of real art and fancy drawings and you just wanted to make a quick little story teller. I've been a huge fan of it lately and you really seem to know what you are doing. Sorry I mistook you for something you are not. The paintings are very nice and it's 100% stronger seeing three of them together. Are you planning on selling them or keeping the, for yourself. Also, the comment about copy/paste should be taken as a huge compliment... they look exact enough to be copies! Nice man.
