In that case I think my first record would have been Various Artists - Kill All Hippies. A compilation with Sex Pistols, Frantic Elevators, New York Dolls, 999, etc.

I wish. I bought it when I was about 16 going on 17. It was 3 pounds and I was thoroughly enjoying the Sex Pistols record a friend lent me, after a reflection upon the advice of one of the members of 911 led me to try and discover music.

My first CDs I ever bought was the collection of .hack//SIGN soundtracks a nice 4cds and the character stories.
My first one of these was .hack//EXTRA SOUNDTRACKS.
I must say they were a great buy, I am listening to them right now.
