That was an excellent way of having the words come up.
But instead of making it go back down, make the screen fade to black so it's 'soft' because the music fades out too.

Dont have time to say any other thing but heres my point. Wonderwall ( i love it) is a cool song. Many singers have covered it. It has even been covered specially for the smallville series. Try doing your own cover. Get a good singer. Bribe someone. etc.
