So, a little shameless self-promotion here:

I entered a costume contest on Major Spoilers a little while ago. The grand prize is a copy of Absolute Batman: The Long Halloween, which I would love to have. I didn't expect to be chosen as a finalist, but wouldn't you know, I'm in the top five. Now it's up to the readers of the site to vote who they like best.

The story on Major Spoilers shows a lot of the entrants, and full pictures of all the finalists. I'm the Catwoman with the mirror. So if you want to do a good deed for the day, vote for me!

The Hawkman's costume is amazing, and even more so in person. We're trying to convince him to use his wings to do a Harvey Birdman costume. If he wins it, I won't feel bad about losing.

Cosplayers scare me. I do superhero costumes sometimes, but I hardly think I qualify on the same level as those crazy fucks.

Ha, I read this magazine article about cosplay in class today. I couldn't stop laughing, it was about 2 girls who dress as fucking Final Fantasy characters =P They even called themselves 'female nerds'. I mean, what the fuck...

Not at all. And having worn skintight black vinyl and walked around in it, I have to say that anyone who wears this stuff for sexual purposes is out of their goddamn minds. It's not insanely uncomfortable, but it's pretty damned difficult to move around in, you sweat a lot, and getting out of it requires assistance (or at least a great deal of patience).
