I didn't like the winning one to much. I thought when I read the Dad n Me one won it'd be the other which I think was by TurkeyonStick which said 'Who's your daddy?'.

This 'people' would like to point out this is the first time I have ever voiced a complaint about the contest winners. I've always congratulated the winners of the contests if I posted in the News thread about them.

Meh, I definitely would have bought some of the other designs, like a tankmen one that said, "Should've used the pythagorean theorem.. bitch" or some of the simple plain ones with "Ng" on them, I don't really like the design of the dad one, no offense to the creator. I also would have bought my metal NG logo shirt.

The whole point of the t-shirt contest was not originality or artistic ability, but overall what design would both look good enough to wear and market NG effectivly. Quite honestly, the designs that picked, though they do have artistic quality, do not give the every day person a clue as to what it is a reference to. Zekey's is just fucking random and so is the one with random images. Even the Strawberry Clock shirt would be lost on most people.

The shirts above, in my opinion, represent NG in a stylish way and would be much better choices for winners.

That's true if the shirts purpose is to advertise newgrounds, but that's not the purpose - there wasnt a purpose given at the start of the contest. That means the contest was open to all types of shirts not just nessecarily adverts.

By the way, most of the shirts you linked to above broke the rule of 'if it's just Newgrounds bits from the Downloads section, then the shirt is not in the contest'. Fair enough they were nice shirts though.
