:Check out this pic of Apple/Pixar CEO Steve Jobs (of course; what other CEO wears jeans that tight?) with an Apple ibook and a Dell notebook. I couldn't include the rest of the photo, but his face is like "Puh-lease!" IBM-PC manufactuers have no style, like Disney, and must steal, like Disney. It happens. But the rat--mouse, went to far this time.

Oh my gosh! Those two laptop PCs look SO similar! Lemme guess, did IBM also steal the idea of making their laptop in the shape of a rectangle? Or how about deciding to put a screen on them, or a keyboard?

Grand Idea, some deleted movies out there are pretty funny (In a pathetic sort of way of course).

We might also add other fun features, such as the "FINAL SAY" option where the person who casts the final vote gets to leave a special message that stays attached to the movie. Additionally, we might make it so your user profile tracks how

many Flash movies you have "shot down". We're just full of ideas.

Hmmm.... problem is some idiots out there will give movies that don't deserve to be deleted 0's and X's just so they can get those deleted movies on their record.

Blech... So what have I been up to? I spent a few days in LA last week discussing a new site (remember that poll we had about paying for adult content?). I'll have more about that as things progress.

Just make sure you keep it independent from Newgrounds. I don't want Newgrounds turning into a porn site.

What did everyone think of the Disney Atlantis article? Do you want to see more content like that on Newgrounds, or do you just want more Flash? Tell me what you think!

I liked the Atlantis article, do more stuff like it; and more flash is always great.

Thanks for voting, OneSickMushroom!
Your vote was worth 6.08 votes. The more experience points you have, the more your vote is worth!

You gave this entry a 0 (you rotten bastard!), lowering its score to 0.52!
BLAM!!! Your vote caused that movie to go below the Portal's "quality threshold", and it has been deleted as a result.

By voting on this entry, you received 2 experience points.

Vote on 3 more items and you can record the experience to your account...

damn that felt good =)

Just the styles, I mean. Dell laptops looked like regular rectangular laptops until now, with the logo in the middle and use metals (Dell's new PC has Titanium all over it). No surprise. And it's always good to make fun of wintels while displaying Steve Job's crotch in the process.

Well, after a long period of procrastination, we have finally put the winning cartoon in place! It came down to a few finalists, and for the longest time I was planning to use two, but in the end we decided to use the movie by George Daneliuc. It had the most impact and also made us laugh. :)

If you cast the deciding vote on a Portal movie that gets deleted, you will be treated to a special Flash movie!

The closest runner-up was by Gavin Kempenaar, and featured a samurai slicing an .swf file in half as it fell from a tree. I still plan to make an archive of some of the better submissions we received.

We have lots of unfinished plans here at Newgrounds! For a while now, we have actually been storing deleted Portal entries. Eventually, we will be launching The Portal Junkyard - a place where people can go to laugh at deleted movies.

Anyway, speaking of unfinished projects - Disorderly is in the final stages of development. All of the art and cinemas by Zeebarf are done, and I'm wrapping up the last of the programming. I sure hope people like this one! Zeebarf and I are already more excited about the next few games we are going to make. Maybe we'll get them out faster than this last one. :)

I liked the article on Atlantis... it was neat how much in common Nadia was! id like to see a game on Nadia on Newgrounds.

I liked the article on Atlantis. I think it's amusing to see how much Atlantis is like Nadia. I think that the portal junkyard and the tracking of how many flash movies that have been shot down by a person and added to their profile are good ideas.

Don't forget how many Bowie fans you would ingratiate if you DID do that "Bowie Dressup" game. But I know you are really busy; juat remember the idea. Also, I really enjoyed the Atlantis article. I told a bunch of people about it and we all couldn't believe that Disney had the nerve to make such an obvious knock off! If they HAVE to be copycats, they could at least put a bit of punch and originality into the new version; but it looks practically the same. Pretty tactless if you ask me. Anyway, I do think you could have more articles such as that on the site. It is really hard to find funny stuff out there and the more genres you pick up in addition to flash movies, the more fans you will have. One last thing: I happen to have a link you might find interesting, if you have not already seen it. Called the T.W.I.N.K.I.E.S project, it is at http://www.twinkiesproject.com/. My personal favorite part is the turing test; I laugh my ass off every time I read it. Thanks, MagentaHorror
