We just updated the Portal view page with a new look by Stamper! It matches the current NG frontpage and Portal frontpage designs, also by Stamper.
Now is the most critical time to voice your comments and criticisms! What do you think of the new look? Is everything working properly? Is anything missing? Do you feel like this new look is cleaner and easier to understand? Let us know your thoughts!
It looks alright but i dont see why this should be better from the old one.

Why does it say Blam this piece of $417 ? WT Hell
and a 1 thing I prefered before was the rating the E for everyone and stuff.

Well, I love the new look. I have a problem, when ever I click on the new logo for "sign in", it never opens. I can open it fine using the old logo, just not with the new one. Any ideas?

The new look is exactly the same as the old one, cept in 3d. It only looks better, it doesn't make anything clearer ( or is it just because I've been here long enough to know where everything is...) or anything :/
Its just kind of a version 1.1 of the Ng layout, that's about all. I think its pretty though :)
The new portal kicks ass! The old one looked good too but its a nice change-up. And since it goes with the front page, it works well. Its Nice!

It's cool. Right now I'm on a 56k and it sucks to wait so long for the look, but someday I'll get a 54mbps wireless connection and nothing will stop me!

Its not the fact that its better just newer. People change their looks all the time, me i am growing myself for a go-tee. This site has been like this for as long as i have been coming...black plain text simple, it wasnt bad. I think this new look is more retro and looks good. When you click on a flash movie, the bage that it is on where the reviews are, that looks like it could use something not sure what, but it feels like it need more solid dividers or different color ones instead of the black box outline. I diffently didnt like that 0 blam saying. I think that might be a mess up or something that should change to something else. other then that nice make-over...could u do that for my car?
It looks good overall, but the speech bubbles on the voting panel are waaaaaaaaaaaay too intense.
Also, I just upgraded to 2.6GHz/512DDR Ram, and running the mouse up & down the Top 50 list on the Main Portal page is STILL making the CPU to rocket to 100% and the Flash animation to please... could you PLEASE do something about the tooltips on the top 50? They cause a really annoying lag effect.
Overall, good work, just needs a little refinement.

And I still REALLY don't like the (Read More) link. As I've said before, its hard enough getting viewers to read the comments without asking them to click an extra link/open an extra window. Why did you do it? It's not as if it takes that much bandwidth to display an extra 20 lines of text... or is it because you want the page footers to be more visible? If that's the case, then you got your priorities all wrong....
I like it, it's all streamlined. But, ya' know, I'm one of them people entertained by flashy objects...

Well, I like the way it makes the site look more consistent throughout, but I preferred the old design anyway - simple is better. It looks good, sure, but I liked the old one. Not at all sure on the new voting box - the old one was easier to look at.
The new Portal page rocks! It looks so much better than the old one did. Excellent work.
I used to be with it. Then they changed what it was.
Now what I'm with isn't it and what's it seems weird and scary to me.

the new layout looks awesome. everything else seems to be the same as for as placement goes but the overall layout isnt drull nemore. good job.

I really like it, although it lags a bit more. The only thing that slightly annoys me it the recent review box. It doesn't stand out enough. Other than that... great job! Looking forward to the new bbs look :)
I like the new layout. One thing though: I prefer the big letter image for the rating, instead of plain text.
