Problems with sound in movie clips 2007-10-21 02:05:46 Reply

Okay, here is my dilemma. I've been working my ass off on a new project. I'm more than half way finished. I've had just shy of about 1000 problems with my sound and I've found solutions for all of them with the exception of this one:

I was having problems with the whole sound delay thing that everyone encounters when they make long flash movies. Even when exporting as stream, the sound still progressively got delayed. So I was told in order to solve this, I had to put my sounds into movie clips. I did that and the delay was gone. Only problem now is that when my movie is played, the sound gets exported like an event. I am 100% positive that inside the movie clips, they're streams, not events. The main problem is when the movie is playing, if you were to pause it, the sound from that scene will keep playing...like what happens when exporting sound in event form.

My hope is that there is a solution for this, I just haven't found it yet. If there's any way to pause the movie AND the sound so it doesn't get messed up, I'd love to know. If anyone can help me out with this, I'd appreciate it...ALOT.

open you flash>file>publish settings>flash> and then set audio and event to 112kbps.
