What is a good audio recording program to use? I tried Windows Voice Recorder but it comes out way to staticy (is that a word). Can anyone suggest a program to use?

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.

It is the microphone that you are using that causes static, not the program. If you want higher quality audio input, you'll need to purchase a better mic.
