Best Thing Ever... Reason!

I have dropped the app FL studio and now purchasing the god of sequencers Reason 3 (4 when I can afford it) I mean its a friggen beast. After words I will purchase Cubase for my SH 201 synth and then my imagination is the only hinder to creation.

If anyone agrees or disagrees, please post. But please no flamming. Cause I didnt.

Meh, Reason is cool, its only turnoffs are lack of VST support and lack of curving automation.

Did you know you can use all the Reason Refills and sequencers with Cubase :).

That means you can use all the VST's you want... and all the reason sounds as well.

Reason is the best sequencer i've ever worked..also it's interface is friendly and the only barrier is the imagination...

if u know how to use it...u can do whatever u want...and there's no need of another sequencer...

I use FL at the moment, I'm going to get reason 4 soon... But at first glance it scares the hell outta me.

Really the ulimate combo is to combine reason and Pro-tools. That is the ultimate production studio. Pro-tools being the best editing software on the market and reason having most of the best synth and instraments avalible, you can do anything with those two programs (if you have grand to drop that is)

Yeah, but you don't have any exotic shapes to work with, like pulses, and you can't edit asdr for each osc alone.

I think he means multiple instances of 3xOsc, and I don't think your CPU gives you a noticeable limitation in the amount of simultaneous 3xOsc 's running. That means you can edit ADSR for every 3xOsc you wish to make. and you can easily get exotic shapes to work with. Ever noticed the "?" oscillator? That means you can use your custom (any) shape. You can easily make yer own for it.
So, the possibilities are quite big.

I got the reason demo, and first looked at it, it scared me. It's very professionally based, while Fruityloops is more user friendly but tends to sound 'inferior' to Reason if you dont know what your doing.
I'm very familiar with FL Studio, so when i was about to get Reason, i thought it would be a peice of cake to understand... Boy was it wrong =P I had no clue what i was doing
