FYI: A return trip to Belgium by Eurostar (train) doesn't cost much more than £50 or EU75.

awesome. i am a lazy shit so maybe i missed it but WHICH city is this in?
are people adults? i dont know if i would feel comfortable if i stayed at some teenager's place while i am an adult / well i would be comfortable but your parents would think I am a pedo...you know it's BELGIUM hahaha im wondering if i just made EVERY belgian user hate me.
anyways sounds cool. what i also worry about: i hope everybody speaks ENGLISH. i would feel a bit pissed off if everybody was talking dutch/french/flemish
wikipedia says Official languages Dutch, French, German

so who of you speaks dutch
who of you speaks french
and of you who speaks germans?

anyways i was only wondering and yet i hope everybody would speak ENGLISH even if it's a BELGIAN meeting I think it would be unfair to others/dont want anybody to feel like an outsider

Why would you allow NGers to go to your house?

That's asking for trouble.

I hope this is some kind of a joke because you've managed to make me laugh, why would you want to get a bunch of Ng users all together to stay at your house, complete strangers who just have an account on a website you're signed up to as well?
And you need to get a mods approval?
What's the go, seriously?
Also you say there'll be some late night drinking at the pub when you're clearly younger than 18 and there's no way there'll be drinking at a pub if you're under 18.
You make me laugh, I hope you weren't too serious about it all.

After seeing this post I would rather be comfortable going to a hotel, trust me your parents will not approve of me. How far is the nearest hotel from your house and do they speak English. Also the worry about going to pubs I'm sure Belgium is the same as France so 16 year olds can drink although it won't matter as I don't drink.

As GayForGirls isn't answering for now, I thought I'd reply to some people with info, because I'm bored anyway.

At 10/15/07 05:05 PM, MarkP0rter wrote: awesome. i am a lazy shit so maybe i missed it but WHICH city is this in?

GayForGirls lives in Antwerp. If you come to Belgium you'll probably arrive in Brussels but as Antwerp is the second largest city you can reach it from Brussels in not even 30 minutes.

are people adults?

Some people are... Is suppose you meant "are you people adults"? But uhm, no I don't think so. We're all like 16-17-18 years old, I think. I'm not sure. But does it really matter?

i dont know if i would feel comfortable if i stayed at some teenager's place while i am an adult / well i would be comfortable but your parents would think I am a pedo...you know it's BELGIUM hahaha im wondering if i just made EVERY belgian user hate me.

I don't hate you. And his parents probably wouldn't care, except if they're really fucking retarded and of they consider every adult communicating with him as a pedo. Which I think they don't. I sure HOPE they don't.

anyways sounds cool. what i also worry about: i hope everybody speaks ENGLISH. i would feel a bit pissed off if everybody was talking dutch/french/flemish
wikipedia says Official languages Dutch, French, German

so who of you speaks dutch
who of you speaks french
and of you who speaks germans?

We all speak Dutch, probably. I speak French too though, because I'm awesome like that. And of course, we all speak English fluently. We're on Newgrounds. Even though everybody's grammar on here is SHIT, I think there's no better school to learn English.

And uhh.. Nobody here speaks German, that's just a myth they're wanting you to believe >_>

anyways i was only wondering and yet i hope everybody would speak ENGLISH even if it's a BELGIAN meeting I think it would be unfair to others/dont want anybody to feel like an outsider

Don't worry about that. Srsly.

Awwwh, come on =P It'd be awesome to have a 27 year old girl paying our drinks for her birthday while she's supposed to be responsible! Think about all the fun you'll miss: (I have no good arguments).

So think again!

At 10/16/07 07:30 AM, BlueFlameSkulls wrote: After seeing this post I would rather be comfortable going to a hotel, trust me your parents will not approve of me.

Of course they will =P Do you think you're worse than the average Belgian teenager? There's no reason you would be. Also I'm sure GayForGirls has spoken to his parents about this, right GfG? =P

How far is the nearest hotel from your house and do they speak English.

As he lives in Antwerp there'll probably be hotels everywhere you want, so that won't be a problem. But you really shouldn't sleep in a hotel. Oh and, yes, they speak English.

Also the worry about going to pubs I'm sure Belgium is the same as France so 16 year olds can drink although it won't matter as I don't drink.

You don't drink? You're coming to Belgium and you don't drink? Well, I can tell you one thing. You're going to drink =P

Okay, you're noted in the book!

Looking at the replies...I'm dead serious.

Okay, maybe it sounds like some big joke, or I don't know. But trust me it IS seroius. Also age limit for drinking is 16+ in Belgium.
Then, a meet up just looks like a fun idea. Sure, there are risks, but that's life. And to me, Newgrounds is such a fun place, and I have no one IRL with whom I can share this funnyness, so it would be so nice to finally go crazy with meme's etc.

Although it's the first time I will encounter a NG member IRL, and that I organise a big thing, it'll still be fun.

You bet your ass.
The parent approves.

Okay, that's it for this week. I'll still be checking, but no big ass posts. Just minor info and replies.

Oh! Don't say that! Everyone is welcome, expecially you! Why? Because you have connections with Sawke ^^

Although this is personaly, this is the fact until proven differently.

Anyway, funds, well, talk with EvilJesus about costs, he's the English connection point.
