i've actually proven one of the outrageous claims that i made as a 7 year old. school is un-american it is one of the few places in america that your rights are violated. you can't say what you want when you want. privacy... psh forget about that it is like your being watched whenever your there. i understand that school is necesarry for society and that these rules are in place to protect us. but i'm just happy i proved one of my outrageous slanders against school that i did as a child.

My teacher openly said to me that as soon as you walk into the school door, your constitutional rights are gone until you leave at the end of the school day. I was actually able to spend an entire class period trying to explain how this is totally wrong to my sheeple peers.

If what is american is having freedom and choice, then school is not american. By law all persons under 18 must be enrolled in school unless they have a HS diploma or GED. If you have no choice to opt out of school then it is not american. It is safe to conclude that school is not american. (Sorry about the weird wording, it's just worded for statement logic notation)

On top of this you do not get your 1st amendment rights taken away. At public school you can say FUCK and they can't do anything about it unless it distracts learning. If they do punish you and you feel they violated your rights, call the ACLU. SUE THE SCHOOLS!

That was a far flung example, but there's a reason why as individuals get older, they're schools are less controling, Increased maturity equals increased responsibility, and with responsibility reaps it's benefits of freedoms / moar rights.

The less mature the child becomes, the less freedoms it can be given. This is the fundamental principal of the things like the physcward.
