At least I'm doing better in our prediction league than I am in the fantasy league. Every player I put in does fuck all. I'm considering putting more United and Chelsea players in, because then at least I won't mind if they're shit.

I really fucked up my fantasy football squad. I've had Kolo Toure in from the start of the season.

I forgot about two teams nobody cares about, how did that happen?

Norwich 1 - 2 Sunderland

Hope that doesn't fuck things up too much. (It probably has)

I reckon even Barca would struggle against Stoke at the Brittannia (cold Wednesday night at Stoke etc). Probably one of the worst away games you're gonna play, considering the injuries we picked up. I do like Stoke, I just really hate playing them.

I expected Bayern to beat Man City at home, but I thought that City would put on a good fight, they disppointed me.
David Silva ran like a headless chicken for the whole game.

I'd stick the cunt in the reserves till next summer. Oh and good result for Chelsea a draw in Valencia, pretty much the only time I support Chelsea is the champions league against foreign opposition.

Looks like it'll be worse than just playing reserves. Maybe once they've 'investigated' they will stick him in reserves. It's not like they'd less a lot of money to do it, considering that they're Man City.

And looking at the result last night this morning, I guess a draw away to our biggest challenge in the group stages isn't bad. It felt bad though last night when stupid bloody Kalou handballed in the box 5 minutes to go from us winning. Worse that he came on from Lampard who scored what would have been the winning goal. Worse that Torres had some beautiful beautiful chances that he got completely right, but their keeper chose those moments to make some blinding saves. It was frustrating. Same old Chelsea. Cannot put away a lead, or defend a lead. But on reflection this morning I think you're right. We got a point and thats not bad.

I'd have him cleaning the player's boots- only fair after refusing to do what he is paid a small fortune for. Alternatively he should have all of his wages deferred until he is disposed of and given back to the fans in the form of cheaper match day tickets.

I only watched the first half, and it was the first time I had seen Chelsea play for a while. My impressions were that they have more cutting edge than the last time I saw them, with Mata and Torres giving some real drive up front. Even though he scored I thought Lampard was a shadow of his former self- I remember him playing box to box, helping with defence and attack in equal measure. Last night I watched him for a good 15 minutes and all he did was saunter around the centre circle.

The other big problem is the same as it was last time I watched them, a lack of pace in defence. I thought Valencia found it far too easy to get the ball into the box and put the ball over the top, with Terry in particular guilty of lagging behind the play on a number of occasions.

So better than they were last time I watched them, but still some major weaknesses in my eyes.

Worrying that all the English sides are finding things difficult this year in the Champions League.

It's a shame really. I know he made it known that he wanted to get out of England, I thought he would give his all still when a move didn't go through. It's hard to like him much for his football after this.

Without trying to sound like I'm defensive of Chelsea much, the second half was better - not just for us. The game was more open and Valencia had some decent chances too. Our attacking though seemed to go up another gear and Torres must have been given a pretty decent half time talk as he was on fire, just like I said thanks to some incredible keeping he couldn't get on the score sheet.

As course that did leave us short at the back and sadly Terry and Cole are not quite the players they yet to be. Not as fast and don't get every ball they used to be able to. And Luiz and Boswinga are still quite dodgy and I worry about them defending in the box. I feel safer with Ivanovic on the pitch but he doesn't get forward as well as Bossy.

I don't get the whole attention about age catching up with Lampard. It happens with every player sadly. I'm less worried about his role being filled long term than I am when age PROPERLY catches up with Terry and Cole. Those roles are going to be hard to replace. Terrys especially.

I am not as worried for us as I was before the group stages started. I think we'll lead the group quite easier and I'm sure Man U will too after their slip up. The jury is still out on Man city and Arsenal.

I'm slightly concerned about our draw, because of our defensive slip ups. I think Ferdinand is getting past it now and he looked far slower. Nevertheless, I'm not worried about the campaign. Manchester United, especially in the Champions League are traditionally slow starters. Was similarly worrying when we drew against Rangers at OT (though we didn't concede 3 goals then...).

I just hope our form doesn't dip too much and we could do with Rooney being back (especially since he's my FT captain >:( ).
