So was Souleymane Coulibaly. We have to face facts and realise things change and that Tottenham is now a bigger club in a more attractive city than Real Madrid.

The only reason why the game is on sky sports is because your boys are scheduled to play against Sheffield Wednesday --- the second biggest football club in Yorkshire. :P

England Vs Wales tonight. Didn't catch the Bulgaria came on Friday but I'm heading to the pub in a few hours to watch this. Fairly confident of a comfortable win.

Wait until England plays against a real team, they will get destroyed as they usually do.

No disrespect to Sheffield Wednesday, but if your guys could not beat them at home, then your boys simply do not deserve promotion.

Six months ago I'd have agreed with you. Euro 2012 won't be our year, and the 2014 World Cup probably won't be either. However, after that I'm more optimistic. We've got some great young talent coming through (Smalling, Jones, Young, etc) and the regulars like Hart and Rooney will still be around and under thirty.

Mate first half we were all over them but second half I bet sky viewers probably thought they were on comedy central. We were fucking awful after being so good in the first half, same old Charlton pressing the self destruct button, wankers cannot hold a lead. Never have and probably never will but Wednesday did only score from a corner which wasn't a fucking corner in the first place! But the marking was shocking oh well still unbeaten and still 3rd. Now for England I'm hoping for atleast 3-0, let's fuck up the sheepshaggers!

Erm... ignoring that one result against Germany, which I still think was swayed heavily by that one disastrous refereeing decision, when was the last time that England were 'destroyed'? Because I have watched most of their games since the early 90s and I am struggling to think of many (or indeed any) occasions where we have been completely thrashed in that period outside of friendlies (and even in them I can't think of any).

And in that time we have hammered some of the top sides in the world, including the Germans.

That isn't to say we are world beaters or anything, but we do not generally get destroyed by anyone, rather crashing out in poor performances on penalties or by single goals. We are not the 4th best side in the world as FIFA would have you believe, but we can compete with pretty much anyone (Spain may be the only exception to that, but then nobody can match them currently).

And yes, our youth is the strongest it has been in years and looks promising for the future. It feels a lot like the early 90s again when the last 'golden' generation came through at United, and now they are repeating the trick with support from top players elsewhere (Wilshere comes to mind for starters). The next 10 years might be a good time to be English (and certainly a lot better than being Welsh or Scottish!).

England will not stand a chance of winning a major trophy until the WAGS fuck off and leave the players alone in the tournement.

Forsell: 30, over the hill, slow, lazy, 7 goals in the past 3 seasons, cannot tackle, cannot hold the ball.
He is a Bates signing from the top to the bottom.
Just fuck off and die, Bates!

I wonder how your Devils will perform when they come up against a good team (Arsenal do not count).

Yes Leeds top lads beating the palace always good news, another win for us today. Very unconvincing Exeter were down to 10 for the vast majority of the game and looked comfortable at times but hey ho a 2-0 win and 3 points. No real upsets in the prem apart from the scousers, I thought Sunderland could pull a sneaky win but apparently not. It'll be good to watch Match of the day again tonight Saturdays aren't quite the same without it.

Very well, apparently. We've beaten Tottenham and made laughing stocks of the City mercenaries with our youth team. And beating any team 8-2 is an amazing feat, especially considering we were on our second choice back four (who are brilliant to watch). Exciting times ahead.

And anyway, using that line of logic the same could be said about City. They've battered Wigan, Swansea and Tottenham (who according to you isn't a big team, however there's little doubt that they're not at their strongest). They haven't had the hardest of times... But yeah, whatever they can do, we can do better without having to spend hundreds of millions.

Since when did Tottenham become a good team?
I cannot wait for your excuses when your Reds lose out to my Whites again next Tuesday. :P
