Boom, arrived with two days to spare. Fucking buzzing for Saturday now, hopefully we can start with a good win against Bournemouth. Oh and I'll see if this twat who's been talking to shit to me and my mates on the facebook banter pages actually keeps to his word, apparently we're gonna get "murked" and "shown up" at London Bridge before the game by him and his "boys". So I got the mighty Bournemouth firm after me... shit lol.

Well, Coventry lost 1-0 to Leicester, it's a good job I didn't go after all then.

The Saints scored twice already and it is only 30 minutes into the game. When you pay peanuts, you end up with getting monkeys. League One, here we come!

Top of the league (by alphabetical order..) get in! 3-0 easay, and one of our goals was a fucking beaut from 25 yards. Palace lost n all so that makes today an awesome one. Didn't see the Leeds match as I was on a train home but my mate who didn't go to the game today (armchair fan) watched it and said Southampton scored 3 quality goals and deserved it. Oh well it's only the first game.

Yeah, but if you have scumbags like Ridsdale and Bates running the club, it is impossible to stay good in the long run. It has been a long time since we had a decent chairman.

Average age of the MUFC squad at the final whistle: 22

Where's this Man United decline I've heard so much about?

I think they're talking quality not age.

Yet in the game there was a huge amount of potential quality and City were basically styled on by a United youth team. No decline there.

You can't call a team a youth team if its your first team.

And yeah I think you got a better team this year than you did last year at this time and you still won the league.

I lol'd when City messed up. De Gea looked nervous but I'm sure he'll be fine. It'd be nice to see Blackpool get promoted again, they're the one team I wanted to stay up.

I never implied such a thing, I was merely pointing out that our more youthful players had a brilliant game against a 'passionate' City side :) I think if any team is going to close the gap on Barcelona, it will be us. Ah, but I do love a good derby. City are always the same and their fans are just as hilarious. Apparently Manchester is theirs, yet they failed to sell 13,000 tickets of their allocation.

THIS CITY IS YOURS? THIS CITY IS YOURS? 13,000 EMPTY SEATS ARE YOU FUCKING SURE?

Meanwhile, how's the Championship?

I lol'd when City messed up. De Gea looked nervous but I'm sure he'll be fine.

He had a shaky first half, but a decent second. I think he's confident and dominant in the box, just needs to work on a few things. People have to remember the likes of Jaap Stam, who had an absolutely shite charity shield (and in turn was put down as a terrible signing) but obviously went on to be one of the best defenders in the world.

Well, one good thing that's come from the riots is that the England game is called off. Bad news is that every game in London is in doubt.

And many of the thugs are no doubt heading for Plymouth tonight as the Argyle take on Millwall... glad I'm not going to that game now!

Been away a couple of weeks in Italy in case DoD was wondering where I was to defend the SPL... but back in time for the start of the new season, and a last minute draw against Shrewsbury to kick off Plymouth's season. I now have a few days to sort out my various (6!) fantasy league teams for this season ahead of the Prem starting- why is it that all my friends insist on setting up different leagues with different versions of the game?

I'm involved in the Telegraph and official Premier League versions should anyone be interested in joining a league- PM me.

As much as I hate Ken Bates, I'd rather have him as the chairman of Leeds United than Grazer, enough said.

MY 2011 NFL SEASON PREDICTIONS

I went through and selected the winners to every game for the 2011 NFL season, and these will be the official standings at the end of the Regular Season.

AFC EAST

1. New England Patriots (12-4) - Coming off a fantastic 14-2 season, I don't see them getting worse only better. However the division around them has gotten better.
2. New York Jets (11-5) - There a little bit better but they overachieved last year.
3. Buffalo Bills (7-9) - Dareus was a fantastic pick up, plus this team can't possibly have as many razorcakes as they did last year.
4. Miami Dolphins (3-13)- No competent QB, Reggie Bush will not have a big impact.

AFC SOUTH

1. Indianapolis Colts (11-5)- Still the best in this division although the gap has closed substantially.
2. Houston Texans (9-7) - Fantastic offense but really missed out on Asomugha, so they remain mediocre.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars (6-10) - Way over payed for Poz, any have a rookie QB.
4. Tennessee Titans (5-11) - They're really just not that talented.

AFC NORTH

1. Baltimore Ravens (12-4) - This team is poised to break through with Flacco at the helm with Breaston.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4) - Same old, same old.
3. Cleveland Browns (8-8) - There getting better, but there not there yet.
4. Cincinnati Bengals (1-15) - Worst team in the league, they have nothing at all.

AFC WEST

1. San Diego Chargers (10-6) - Bound to rebound back into taking control of this division.
2. Oakland Raiders (8-8) - Average team with little improvement this offseason.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (8-8) - Bound to fall back after last year overachieving performance.
4. Denver Broncos (5-11) - With Tebow or Orton, they are still not that good.

NFC Standings

NFC EAST

1. Philadelphia Eagles (11-5) - Very talented but in no ways does that guarantee domination.
2. Dallas Cowboys (10-6) - They will be much improved over last years debacle.
3. New York Giants (10-6) - Same story as year before.
4. Washington Redskins (3-13) - Miserable team with a miserable prospect.

NFC SOUTH

1. New Orleans Saints (10-6) - Loss of Reggie Bush is not a big deal at all.
2. Atlanta Falcons (10-6) - Due to fall back a little.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-10)- Due to fall back a lot.
4. Carolina Panthers (3-13)- Bad team who suck

NFC NORTH

1. Green Bay Packers (13-3) - This team won 10 games last year with half there team, they will run train this year.
2. Detroit Lions (9-7) - Almost break through but they need something else to put them over the edge.
3. Minnesota Vikings (7-9) - McNabb is not gonna be enough to revitalize them.
4. Chicago Bears (4-12) - I just feel like there not good.

NFC WEST
1. St. Louis Rams (10-6) - Bradford is set to break this team out, and in a big way.
2. Seattle Seahawks (9-7) - Will feed off easy schedule
3. San Francisco 49ers (8-8) - Set to improve
4. Arizona Cardinals (5-11) - Kolb's not gonna turn this shit around anytime soon

I'm putting Coventry's recent failure down to a blip. Albeit a seven year blip, it's a blip nonetheless!

Hopefully my sunday league team won't flop..
