Champions league for Aston Villa?
I hope that your owner does not overspend if you guys qualify for the CL. Or you will be just like us in a few years.

I doubt it

The cunts have been in that position before and always failed, however this time they havent got Cov there to beat them 4-1 :D

anyway 1-1 away at QPR today with 10 men 2 out of place players and 3 or 4 missing

A very good point in the circumstances

Cov does what a Championship mid-table team does the best --- being average. :P
P.S: Let the Alex Bruce countdown begin so that we can finally ship out Michalik. ;)

Well, the pundits on Match of the Day aren't convinced yet, but with every result that goes out way, it's looking more likely.

I hope that your owner does not overspend if you guys qualify for the CL. Or you will be just like us in a few years.

Well, the simple facts of the matter are that out owner has a lot of money to back him up, he has supreme confidence in our manager, who studied under the late, great Brian Clough and that we are going to buy quality players - Ashley Young now looks like a bargain at £9.75m seems like a bargain now, considering how much Man Utd paid for Christiano Ronaldo, or how much Chelsea paid for the likes of Didier Drogba, for example.

We've got a good youth setup and we can afford to let the players mature in our lower teams before making the jump into the big time, like Agbonlahor and Delfouneso. We've still got work to do to make it to the Champions League, but we're making steps in the right direction, considering we're only 5 points behind pace setters Liverpool, which is the real achievement after 21 of 38 games.

Ah, good old Matin O'Neil. We were chasing him before we hired David O'Leary.

Well, the results speak for themselves - he did wonders for Leicester City, as well as guiding Celtic to 3 titles and four cups. Now he's got Aston Villa in a place looking for European Honours and possibly even an outside shot at League glory.

Not that I want to dream too big, but we're not too far from the pace at present. Who knows what the future holds?

I am sure that there are some errors on the websites, but it is still fun. :) Delph is good, but we would take Ashley Young over him any given day. :P

Yeah, that's probably some sad, desperate Leeds fan who's thinking that he's love to have a top knotch playing staff working for him :P

Well, apparently it was the PA's fault if you checked the website.
I will be happy if we can win the race against Burnley for signing Alex Bruce.

Richard Naylor from Ipswich has come to Leeds on a month long loan.
Well, at least he is a central back. Plug him there this Saturday. He cannot be worse than Michalik, can he?
Now come on SOUTHEND, the whole football world will laugh at Chelski if they lose.

Wow, we lured Carl Dickinson for a month loan deal. Isn't he supposed to be the future of Stoke City?
I hope hope that we can extend his loan to the end of the season and sign him up in the summer.

Perhaps the future of Stoke City lies in the Championship for another year and they want him to get some match experience with fighting for promotion places, so that he is ready for that next year?

I hope hope that we can extend his loan to the end of the season and sign him up in the summer.

Possible, but don't hold your breath

So I'm back from my little vacation, and it seems Plymouth are even worse than they were when I left... The only player we've really tried to sign, some Japanese international that I haven't really heard of, has been denied a work permit, which I suspect he would have got if he was trying to move to a bigger side. Some consolation is that there are teams below us on equally shoddy form, and we put up a fine display against Arsenal in the cup.

As for this Kaka nonsense, I don't see how it makes sense for City to try and buy him, but Milan will probably jump at the chance. 100 million is enough for them to buy 3 or 4 young players that may grow up to be just as good as Kaka, while City seem to be intent on the quick fix, and doing it badly!! The one area they are strong in is midfield! If Chelsea have taught us anything its that buying players at the peak of their game is a mistake, they never live up to those high expectations. City really should invest in some strong younger players and help them develop, and do so for a fraction of the price!

Meltdown in Manchester?

After Kaka's transfer from AC to the Eastlands Stadium collapsed, due to some sort of fuss, Robinho apparently has gone home for 'family reasons', though media speculation is rife that he is not happy that the Kaka transfer has fallen through.

Just got back because it's like a 4 hour journey for me to get up to watch Wolves, and I wish I didn't go.

You know it was a shite penalty really! No power or placement, expected more in the last second. =P

But you did deserve to win it, especially with how our defence played, we we're hoping Berra would sort that out which obviously he didn't. I think we're fucked now to be honest, we can't keep a clean sheet to save our lives. We'll slip off into the play offs now like every other year and go out in May.

I don't think anyone did, everyone was so wrapped up in Tony Adams being fired at Portsmouth! If Mr Scolari is looking for a job with a little less pressure I'm sure there will be a vacancy at Home Park in the coming week...

Hiddink is odds on favourite, it's likely to happen.

I'd like it if they got Zola or someone. A player from the times when they weren't such cocks.
And Zola always looks happy in a cheeky way. I like that in a manager.
