Or just RIP MOAR CDs.

I downloaded the selection of songs that I liked from Guitar Hero on Saturday, so I feel better now :)

It looks like the disc is scratched a little - the copy works great for the first 6.5 minutes, but the end is all stuttery, like you're trying to buffer radio on the internet and it keeps buffering. So long as I'm ready to skip track towards the end, I'm happy enough, but I shouldn't have to settle for second best!
No, I meant... what's Fear of the Dark again?

It's a song by the immortal Iron Maiden. Happy Birthday Bruce Dickinson

I'm sure it's some album I should know about and you and/or Bahamut will now gently chide/berate me for my ignorance of it.

LET IT COMMENCE. #;-}>

It was only the one track - their live version in Dotrmund where Dickinson laughs really maniacally, after the crowd sings back to him 'Fear of the Dark' The name of the Album was Edward the Great

Some tunes just sound better live.

Well, I'll still eb here :P

But will I stay here? Most likely so considering this is the best place on the Internet. :)

Are/were you with Virgin Media?
I am still with Virgin Media. I can't complain that much, as we're getting the new super fast connection, and I've discovered that we're only getting a 2mb connection at present.

But does your connection suck a lot of ass? Virgin Media have some fucking problems here. OK, maybe it's not been too bad for a while now, but I've had more problems with them than I ever did with AOL.

WOO!
Greg, it was truly worthy - I made a whole news post about it!

HURRAY! No need for myself to do one, because I made a list of CDs I own 2 months ago.

MAYBE? ... keep talking like that and you'll be administered a group beatdown, my (not so?) good man.

FOR THE LAST FUCKING TIME, I'M NOT A FUCKING MAN!

Blame the fuckers who took the names Bahamut and Bahamut7 on gmail before I had the chance to do so. Oh well, at least I managed to snag the name Bahamut on Ustream and Revver. :D And of course, Newgrounds, but I didn't originally take the name.
I don't blame them, I blame google for making Gmail all about how easy it is to SEARCH for shit in your mail, but then making it really hard to find mails by friends with [textstring] in their e-mail addresses if you don't type the full username in that string instead of just a partial username. WTF is up with that, Google? EH?

No idea, but if my email was Bahamut@gmail.com, you would have found my name easier. XP

Doing a Top Blammers update on Clock Day. Ironic, but very tiring. Portal Guard has gone off so many times today, it's been unreal.

Wow, I thought this list would be quiet this time around. Boy was I wrong. For the first time since I started the regular updates, we get our first 1,000 Blam Gainer over one month. Congratulations to DrJam, the urine and blood testing is that way *points*

My god, I think I'm starting to go blind. I've still got at least 2 hours before I can legitimately say that I've done a decent day's work for Clock Day. Time to get myself a pint of Tea and something sweet for sustenance!

Of course, I only gained those blams because I came back from my B/P break just for Clock Day. However, since Clock Day's over, I'm back to my break from the portal.

Just not enamoured with B/P any more?

I think that I'd love to see a day when a medium scale spam attack comes through the portal and I can get myself 60-70 Blams on a single day. It's ahppened a few times and it's such a good feeling to see that your efforts are rewarded :)

Lol, weird date to do an update. Weren't you a little too busy with the clock day event? And a saviours update would have been more logical indeed, but oh well :p

Logic has nothing to do with it... Logic has everything to do with it.

If I'd pulled stats for Saves on Clock day, we would have had to wait another month for the stats to be all balanced out and as accurate as possible again. I did the Blams because it's the quietest day of the year for the Blam. Also, I was due the update on the Saturday as well, so saved myself some time for a spot of DIY with my friends.

Rank) Blams|| Gain || Username
129) 15843 || + 456 || Auz 8
Most Ranks Gained: Auz (+8)
Woohoo!! It was a great month for me again. Too bad the top 100 is still miles away, but I'm getting there.. slowly.

Yeah, you look like you're starting to make a move on me for Blams. I wonder if I'll be a top 100 Blammer before you catch me... should be doable, but it's all dependant upon other circumstances.

Excellent quote! ^^

Of course, I only gained those blams because I came back from my B/P break just for Clock Day. However, since Clock Day's over, I'm back to my break from the portal.
Just not enamoured with B/P any more?

Nope, I was starting to get fed up with it a few months ago. I thought to myself that I'd get to 70k B/P and stop there for a while. I originally thought of stopping for a week, but I felt so comfortable not checking the portal that I made the break last much longer than my original plan, so it lasted until the week Clock Day was on. And then back to my break afterwards.

I think that I'd love to see a day when a medium scale spam attack comes through the portal and I can get myself 60-70 Blams on a single day. It's ahppened a few times and it's such a good feeling to see that your efforts are rewarded :)

There's fame and there's imfamy - you appear to have gone for imfamy

I've driven past Stoke before. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose - noone has ever gone through a season and won every single game they've played.

We're still better than Leeds United - I'd rather live in Stoke than in Leeds, believe me.

Yea, but good teams do not lose to Stoke City.

I hope that we draw Aston Villa in the league cup or the FA cup, then we will have a chance to prove you wrong. ;)

You seem to think that I've not got what it takes to get anywhere with life, because I didn't get a degree from Leeds University. Give me about 14 months and I'll have qualifications. Not that it matters, since you appear to be after a "you mama so fat contest"

Well, one just did. I'm sure that others will lose to Stoke before this season plays out. You're just trying to rub it in as we happened to be the first. I can take it, as it's just a game.

Whoa. I forgot I had already alluded to such imminent responsing by teh dragon man. NOW I'M GETTING REDUNDANT.

It was only the one track - their live version in Dotrmund where Dickinson laughs really maniacally, after the crowd sings back to him 'Fear of the Dark' The name of the Album was Edward the Great

Whoa. Was he laughing that the crowd was singing it when most crowds don't? Or was it the WAY in which the German crowd was singing it that amused him? #;-}>

Some tunes just sound better live.

U2 - Bad.

But to me, very few sound better live, the above being the ONE example that comes to mind for me right away. Oh, and:

Rush - Mystic Rhythms (at least, the live version on Chronicles >>>> the original album version, which I got the album of mostly because I loved the live one so much... kinda disappointed me, because as the above all alludes to... I tend to love studio recordings so much more than live recordings, for almost any band... period)

Doing a Top Blammers update on Clock Day. Ironic, but very tiring. Portal Guard has gone off so many times today, it's been unreal.

Hahahaha. Why even bother with Portal Guard? Personally, I used my edited version of Shitty Kitty's ol' "next flash" javascript (the one that with a single toolbar button press on your browser of choice immediately takes you to the +1 flash id#) to go flash by flash. Whether I was too late to save it or not, I voted on every single damned movie that day. Didn't watch (most) of 'em if they were already saved, though. Missed enough saves already watching so much of the ones that were still UJ, plus getting distracted by other things.

Anywho, you should at least move up to my future perm retirement spot, 72k... and sit there for awhile before you head for 77777.

Which is really where you should retire for good, if you desire fittingness of final numbers (gfox) over constant activity (Coop). PICK A DESTINY.

The only thing difficult about a 77777 retirement is chosing the desired blam and save counts to do it on, seeing as how one will have to be odd and one even. I recommend 5 and 2 ending numbers, since that's the most desirable odd/even combo you could get.

52525 and 25252 are just such a combo but alas... are impossible for your account. ;_;

Black Sunshine
Bulls on Parade
Knights of Cydonia
La Grange
Talk Dirty to Me
Through the Fire and Flames
Rock 'N' Roll Nite

No, because if it happens again, I'm contacting Mods.

Just the same as Baseball, Ice Hockey, Cricket or Motorsport.
If it's just a game, why did you say "I'd rather live in Stoke than in Leeds, believe me."? Please don't be the type of sports fan that equates teams with the city they're in... there are indeed Yankees-haters here in America who hate NYC and thus hate the Yankees.

Nah, it's the point that he believes that he knows everything about the team and how good they are. I've been to that desolate wasteland, when Leeds United was a decent footbal team and I spent a miserable 6 months there. Now I need to try and forget.

Speaking of BASEBALL for a moment here rather than football... do you know about the 80s pop/rock band called The Outfield, Coop?

Gah, stupid quote limit. It's because of mine and gfox's massive quote pyramid, but we ain't going to take away ANY of it! No way in hell that will happen.

Yep, that's right.

Anywho, you should at least move up to my future perm retirement spot, 72k... and sit there for awhile before you head for 77777.

I would, but I can't be arsed right now.

Which is really where you should retire for good, if you desire fittingness of final numbers (gfox) over constant activity (Coop). PICK A DESTINY.

Nope, 77777 >> 72000

The only thing difficult about a 77777 retirement is chosing the desired blam and save counts to do it on, seeing as how one will have to be odd and one even. I recommend 5 and 2 ending numbers, since that's the most desirable odd/even combo you could get.

52525 and 25252 are just such a combo but alas... are impossible for your account. ;_;

What about 39333 blams and 38444 saves?

Just GH3 at the moment, but I now own the following tracks:

Cliffs of Dover
Even Flow

Had that for 15 years...

Lay Down
Black Sunshine
Bulls on Parade
Knights of Cydonia

Got the album thanks to GH3.

La Grange

Had that for 10+ years.

Talk Dirty to Me
Through the Fire and Flames

Got the album thanks to GH3.

Rock 'N' Roll Nite
School's Out

Have that from the Dazed and Confused soundtrack.

Paranoid

Have that on so many CDs.

The Number of the Beast

Got the album thanks to GH3.

Sunshine of your Love

Have that on so many CDs.

Welcome to the Jungle

I only downloaded the first 9, but I already owned the rest of them :P

Well... counting up my tally... I had 5 you listed from loooooong ago, but 3 others only thanks to GH3, as well. #;-}>

but I do know that Under my Wheels by Alice Cooper is a lot better live... possibly because the live version I've got features Slash on guitar and the solos just destroy it in a good way.

Yeah, but with worthwhile goals, rather than the pursuit of some part timer. If I'd have been using DoD as a pace guide, I'd have slowed down over the past few months, wouldn't I?

Sure, but having DoD back from the dead means even more motivation. You can continue to use the folks you were using as pace guides while he was away if you like, but whether you focus on beating him alone now that he's back and taunting you... or on just adding his name along with all the others... my point is, it's not like DoD's smack talk is going to slow you down. At best (for him) it'll have no effect. At worst, it'll spur you on to new heights.

Speaking of BASEBALL for a moment here rather than football... do you know about the 80s pop/rock band called The Outfield, Coop?

"...you know I like my girls a little bit older..."
Never heard of them...

They're a guitar/bass/drums trio from the east end of London who formed in the early 80s as the Baseball Boys, and then changed their name to "The Outfield" when they released their debut album, "Play Deep."

I've known their hit song "Your Love" for many a year, and had enjoyed it while playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, but it wasn't until I was on a custom Team Fortress 2 server in the past few weeks that featured it in their 80's music channel, and I heard someone else playing it, played it myself, etc. etc. Got the CD a couple days ago and there's a few good other songs on it and some clunkers, too.

But anyway, I'm just always intrigued by Englishmen who love baseball, as they clearly do from their band/album/song naming tendencies, thanks to my friendships with you and jonthomson, in all your Yankee/Red Sox fandom glory.

smiles with pride, even as his charred skin, muscle, and fat falls off his bones:::
wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Yep.

DON'T HURT ME!

So... you can dish it out aplenty... but ye can't take it, eh?

I BLAME HIM AND GMAIL BOTH.
Ah, fair enough then.

Good. I'm glad we're agreed.

BURNINATING THE VILLAGERS. IN THEIR THATCHED-ROOF COTTAGES!!!!!
KIIIIIIILL VILLAGERS!!

EXCELLENCE.

lol yeah. However, starting tomorrow, I'm gonna catch some B/P points each day. Just when I'm depositing my EXP.

Thanks to Auz recommending me that strategy... I'm at 66,260 b/p this very day.

Instead of... I dunno... 62,000 or so.

I was saying 77777 is where you should retire for good, you daft dragon!
Fucking phew! Good, good.

So you agree with the gfox plan more than the Coop plan, eh? Good, good!

52525 and 25252 are just such a combo but alas... are impossible for your account. ;_;
What about 39333 blams and 38444 saves?
That would be pretty cool, yeah. Or, if you like to have one number all nice and even, and one all 7ed up, even though it'll break my heart:

40000 and 37777.
Infact, that's a hell lot better. However, I MUST have more blams than saves! I was more fond of blamming back in the days and I wish my blams to higher than my saves.

So 40,000 blams and 37,777 saves, then.

For me, the 40000 is so badass, it makes the 37777 bearable.

I'm sure there's other combos we could think of besides the one you came up with and the one I came up with, though.

OOO! I know. You'll have to stop getting saves on your main account soon to do it, though... and rake in a shitload of blams:

34343 saves, 43434 blams.

Bad ASS.

If you don't want to get only 100 more saves while getting 6000 more blams... I guess there's also:

37373 saves, 40404 blams.

"Only" around 3000 saves AND 3000 blams needed for that one.

I'm gonna shake things up a bit here. I sensed a pattern in your vowel usage (ie = Japanese for no, BTW), so... either way, things will be fucked (I do the last consonent now, then you continue your vowel pattern, then I have to do the final vowel.... might as well do the next vowel now, then you get to do the final vowel, and I get the final consonent... makes much better sense, that way):

He did? Where? :::looks... and looks... and looks some more:::

... oh, like half a page up, back on 8/12. Found it, finally.

Good, good.

I thought you meant in his most recent post, which had no links at all.

Oh, lol.

Instrumental noodling... full fledged guitar solo 1 at around 4:00... not bad.

You're not so impressed? Damn! It's so damn brilliant live, especially when you're actually there!

Hah, that shouldn't happen. If I get 10 B/P each day from tomorrow until Clock Day, I'll get around 3600 B/P (eheheheheheheh), which would get me to almost 75k B/P. And then add around 1250 B/P to it and I'd have around 76250 after the week Clock Day 2009 falls on.
At this point, it's gonna be much less than 3600 b/p, man. That would only be true 5 days after Clock Day, which was August 20th. O_o

Well, that was a rough estimate. Since my minor comeback, I've not gained over 10 B/P yet, and I don't have to. Just bit by bit will do.

Anyway, looks like you got it all figured out. Good to see you'll be fine all the way through CD09, then. You're expecting to be at 77,777 by... what, 2010?

Possibly then, but I'll just go with the flow and see when I'm getting close.

Coincidentally enough, that's when I expect to hit 72k.

Wow. :o

Then again, it might be the Werewolves of London.
I KNEW IT.

But they weren't the Werewolves of London, it was Richard Nixon!

smiles with pride, even as his charred skin, muscle, and fat falls off his bones:::

Yep.

You should be burnt to death by now. What the hell happened? O_O

DON'T HURT ME!
So... you can dish it out aplenty... but ye can't take it, eh?

I don't deserve to be hurt for no reason whatsoever!

lol yeah. However, starting tomorrow, I'm gonna catch some B/P points each day. Just when I'm depositing my EXP.

Slowly getting there, I see. It's fine, take your time. :) Just like how I'm taking my time with my 100th flash, even though I should pay more attention to it. If not, it could take as long as Duke Nukem Forever or Chinese Democracy. o__O Of course, that ain't cool at all. However, I can't let you all down. I WILL NOT CANCEL MY 100TH FLASH WHATSOEVER! The only things that can stop it are either death or real life taking over completely. I know I'll be fine over the next few years.

Fucking phew! Good, good.
So you agree with the gfox plan more than the Coop plan, eh? Good, good!

Yes, the Coop plan fails.

Sorry Coop. D:

For me, the 40000 is so badass, it makes the 37777 bearable.

Infact, why not ignore the 3 and just look at the 7's? :)

I'm sure there's other combos we could think of besides the one you came up with and the one I came up with, though.

But that one's the fucking shit! While the other ones you suggested were pretty cool, none of them were superior to the 40000 + 37777 combo.

You've got the chance to get there - it just takes a lot of dedication - kind of like the dedication for getting on the Saves list about 2 years ago ;)

Anyway, moving swiftly onward:

Coop's Update #05
Blamming may no longer be the favourite passtime of the Newgrounds stat whore, but it's still worthy of a list, as the stats say that the top 150 users still have more Blams in total than the top 150 Saviours have in Saves.

With this update including Clock Day, we're seeing a reverberation, where all of the Blams totals start to settle down again.

Movement
courtday has entered the top 50, pushing the late Major-punk out of the top 50.

Milestones:
35,000 Blams: Ehwaz003
20,000 Blams: CaptainBob

Top 5 Gainers:
+733 - DrJam
+607 - AfroUnderscoreStud
+584 - harryjarry
+468 - Punisher
+453 - ScottTowels
