Hey, I was voting in teh protal for the past hour or so, I reviewed 4 flashes (whee!) and got a good 5 or 10 saves to go with the 20 or so I've gotten in the past week...

And then I saw a flash so shitty... that I just HAD to blam it. I mean... yeah. Bad. And it only had like 65 views.

So I quickly copied the URL, changed from Opera (gfoxcook login) to Firefox (gfoxclock login), and nailed that mofo.

First b or p for gfoxclock in months. BLAMMO.

And 36k blams still intact on teh gfoxcook.

I wonder if I'll ever slip up. I hope not.

I knew I would slip up, so I had a plan B, which was to have a 100:1 blam to save ratio, so when Toohot100 hit Private on the old levels, it would have 1500 blams and 15 saves. Too bad blams are too hard to get now AND Private requires more B/P.

From how you guys talk about the rates at which you can get blams now being so low, I doubt it'd be that hard to hit the blammark exactly, anyway.

Well, when I thought of having an alt with 0 saves and lots of blams, my main reason for getting it to Private was because of D0GMA's EGRL since Toohot100 would be at the top of the blam ratio list. However, since that list has been defunct and I'm sure it'll never come back, now there's less of a point of going to Private. However, we now have Casualty's NG Log and it contains a Blam ratio rank list, so yay for Toohot100 being at the top. :D

Top 200 blams covers almost all the way down to 10k but not quite... this is my biggest mystery in terms of "how do I fix things"... more on that below:

Why does there have to be 200+ people with 10k+ blams?

And that was as of almost 2 months ago, too... who knows how many people are now over 10k in the 201-300 rank area...

Can anyone help me with that? Does anyone have a tracking list for the top 200 blam list? I don't know if LockClock's been around for a few weeks, but so many different people have updated this over the past couple o' years, so.... it's worth a shot.

Needless to say, I will make sure that all 200 people listed on this most recent update on page 44 will be in my spreadsheet pre-final pentalist update (if they aren't already, of course).... but who else lurks off the edge of this list that isn't on ANY other list I'm scanning through to make my list accurate as possible? That is the question, yes.

Personally, I find it better than Encyclopedia Dramatica. Encyclopedia Dramatica I think is more of a porn site rather than a humour site considering about 99% of all the articles there contain porn/hentai. Uncyclopedia on the other hand, have some limits and the jokes appeal to me more than ED does, but I still get some laughs from there as well.

It's got nothing to do with saves vs. blams or high stats, I'm just concerned about my list's accuracy, and I've been relying on the various single stat list topics to try and help me gather usernames/profile links for that purpose.

2:1 b/p ratios was indeed probably the gold standard back in the day. I always prided myself on having a ratio less than that, meaning I was protect heavy... and indeed, I retired at 3:2 b/p ratio with my 1.5x as many blams as saves at 36k/24k... that said.... a lot of big b/pers in the day had ratios well over 2:1 in favour of way more than twice as many blams as saves.

So I tend to end up with 10-20 open tabs from there.... BEST TO AVOID WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

With wikipedia itself, of course, I often end up with 40-50 open tabs... if I just allow myself to browse endless topics, so... I guess it's less timewastery than the MAIN wikitrap, at least.
