flash CS3 to 8 2007-10-04 23:45:26 Reply

I just attempted to copy and paste some flash 9 artwork in an fla to flash 8 and for some reason it wont allow me. Does flash 9 use an entirely different system for creating verctor images such as a more advanced math system? just wondering because I can't get my work into 8, and I know the file itself is different, thats why I was trying to copy and paste.

Note: i did not read what you wrote.

There are flash 8 -> cs3 transfer coders (its a program that changes it)...

so google it up :p

That solves nothing regarding the question asked and you look like a total ass by not reading the post.

@OP: Do a save as, change the version to Flash 8, then open the file in Flash 8. That should solve your problem.

Sweet, I didn't know I could change it back to 8 format. Either way im gonna assume that the vector graphics work with some different math in 9 anyone got any info on if it does/is it better?
