Nope, Canadians are our brothers out where I live, we share so much in the way of culture and pass times, plus lots of good hunting land up nort, prime hunting ground in face, fishing too. Can't afford to be an ignorant little priss when prime goose country is at stake, and for clarification I'm in Wisconsin

Canada is actually surprisingly popular among Americans; the vast majority tend to feel some sort of brotherhood with Canada. In Canada, the opinion sort of varies, but it's mostly a "Yeah, we're neighbors, but we see a bit too much of each other" kind of attitude. I have found more Americas, though, who hate America, than I have ever found Canadians who do.

The Americans I've seen usually seem to think they are better than Canadians and have a huge ignorance to what Canadians are like. Most of them actually think there's that stereotypical Canadian accent... the only Canadian accents there are are English and French.

When I went to Canada I found out that every actually is nice and polite (at least compared to where I am right now) so I think anyone has any reason to hate them and I don't think they would want to hate America since it give Canada HUGE amounts of aide.

OR I could just be talking out of my ass because none of us have definate answers.

I have nothing against Canada, or the people there, as the few I've met were alright. Anyway, as to the seeing each, we happen to be the main trade partner of Canada so it only makes sense that we would deal with each other often enough. As for hating America, nah, I like the place well enough, I just hate the current people running the joint.

I have nothing against Canada, in fact I'd like to see our two countries become one. Yet I've seen that many Canadians seem to hate Americans, not all of course there are a lot of cool ones but I've seen my fair share of America haters. Although I would think that the same thing goes for the other way around.

As a Canadian I most definately do not hate Americans, I have several friends in the U.S. & one of my friends & a co worker is originally from Boston. He moved here when he was a teenager & his mom married a guy from P.E.I.
I don't understand why anyone can make a blanket statement like Canadians hate Americans or vice versey.
Are there some Americans I have met & don't like ... absolutly, but I can say the same thing about some Canadians I have met.
I don't think its right to judge people, just because of the country they were born/raised in.
No matter where someone's from, give them a chance, you never know; you might just make a friend.

I love Canada and Canadians are very nice.I have visited 3 times, and i would like to go again this time To Vancouver, the drive is only about 9 hours but by plane we can get there in like 2 hours which i have done before.

I don't hate Canadians. Truth be told, I live too far away from the border to really know any, but in my understanding, they're basically the same kind of people.

Here, here! One of my counselors at my church camp this year was Canadian. He was a great guy... I mean yeah I sorta joked around by saying, "Eh?" every time we saw each other, but he frankly, seemde to think it was hilarious.
