If dumb animals who cant adjust to the wild go extinct, why does this not apply to humans? Think of what it would be like with SMART people ruling the world.

If I could name one person I respect.........it probably would be me. oh and the guy who lives here

Because there are laws protecting them.
And other safety precautions.

Actually most cases of animals going extinct can probably put put down to humans, we ruin everything.

We've(as a species) probably made a small dent in one percent of a millionth that's existed since Man started out.

Man help nothing. ;_; We force too many creatures to live closer together as we over populate the earth, causing beautiful animals to be severely endangered.

That's mostly true.

In Dorset there's a great museum where they have this picture of a bunch of deadly animals (Sharks, Tigers etc.), and underneath there's ominous text like "One creature does more damage and kills more others than any other species. Can you guess what it is?" then you press a button and a light flicks on and shows a mirror with the words "IT'S MAN!" above it.

Scared me shitless as a kid.

I'll have to agree to this. Some animals do go extinct because of natural reasons; however the majority of creature extinctions that we know of, beside the dinosaurs, are because of human adaptation. We cut down the trees, and we do the shark hunting. I'm not a tree hugger in any way, shape, or from, but I do kind of feel sorry when young animals don't get the chance to live to their fullest capabilities due to human interest.

Need to make an updated sig.
