Photoshop Colouring Help!!! 2007-10-03 15:43:05

Well, i'm new to photoshop, and was just wondering something. Whehnever I fill something in, it seems as if there is a white outline in between the fill and the brush. Here is an example shown below, but is there a way to fix that? or do I have to manually colour it all in?

That white outline is a result of Photoshop being a raster program and anti aliases when you draw with a brush. You could use the pencil if you really want to make stuff to flood fill, but I'd suggest doing your coloring on a different layer.

if you keep clicking the bucket fill tool in the area the white will disappear

It then also loses the quality, and becomes pixel-y. You can fix that by just doing a Gaussian blur.

Select the area you want to fill with the magic wand, go in selection>expend>2px then fill the selected area in a new layer.
