ART CONTEST: Newgrounds Themed Shirt Design
RULES:
- Create a shirt design to be sold in the Newgrounds Store with a NEWGROUNDS THEME to it.
- Only design the front of the shirt.
- Your design MUST BE VECTOR FORMAT. Download the flash (.fla) template below.
- You can only use 4 COLORS with your design. Screen printing has it's limitations, but it also makes for a cleaner design. You can also use the color of the shirt as the unoffical 5th color. (ex. you make a face with 4 colors, but the tounge can be the red fabric of the shirt)
- Post your design in the art thread on one of the selected shirt colors in the template. You can use my example below or some variation. Just make sure we know the shirt color and clearly see your design.
-If you have a winning design, you need to provide us with your art in vector format. Don't post any links to it in the art thread, we'll contact you for it.
With the new store launching soon, what better time to stock up on some TOTALLY SWEET new shirt designs. It's important to note your entries must be Newgrounds themed. That basically means if somebody familiar with newgrounds were to see you swaggering down the street with this shirt on - they would know it's a newgrounds shirt. Tanks, Tankmen, destroyed cityscapes, orange sunbeams, pico, angryfaic, something to do with the flash or audio portal, etc.
Obviously, there's a grey area here and we want you to get creative, so if you have a design you're not sure is "newgrounds" enough you can post a rough in the discussion thread for approval.
There's a bunch of online shirt stores with clever designs so feel free to look em up for inspiration, but for the love of god don't steal or heavily "BORROW" any because you will be ostracized if you do.
