I'm ordering Decoding the Tombs of the Bansheebot tonight, great songs on that album.
Purple haze all around, don't know if I'm coming up or down. Purple haze all in my sight, can't tell if it's day or night.

Hello everyone,
I am new to this site so bare with me :P
I recently started listening to Buckethead with the album Slaughterhouse On The Prairie and I must say I really like it.
Now I'd like to which album you would recommend for starters ? Also, is all of his music instrumental (no singing) ?

From what I've heard you can't really start and end anywhere with Buckethead. He's just too eclectic. I just pick up whatever album I can :P.
I highly recommend Colma though, its a very peaceful album. Nothing remarkable in terms of virtuosity, but for easy listening its perfect.

I met someone who's been sending me albums for free, so now I have Decoding the Tombs of Bansheebot, Cuckoo Clocks of Hell, Colma, Bucketheadland 2, Electric Tears and Elephant Man's Alarm Clock.

I'm gonna start buying some Buckethead albums pretty soon, as I'm picking up shifts at my new job. I'm going to first purchase Monsters and Robots, Population Override, and Colma, as those are my three favorites.

Colma's great, and I'm sure I've heard songs from the others. But so far, Bansheebot is my favorite album.

He should really put booklets in his albums. I find that his albums feel light and cheaply made compared to other albums I own which have got booklets.

I have booklets in Giant Robot and Bucketheadland. And thats 100% of the albums I own physically by him.

How discouraging. The main reason I buy CD's besides physically owning them is for the booklets. I enjoy reading them for lyrics, liner notes, thank yous, and cool artwork.

Some of them do have like, one page or something with thank you's and stuff. But no full booklets with loads of pages.

Hi I'm new to the forums and to the club.
My favorite album is Blueprints, then comes all together in 2nd place Cobra Strike II, Bucketheadland and Cuckoo Clocks of Hell.
I think I am getting mental sometimes because I listen to too much of these always in transe LOL.

I haven't listened to much rock other than Buckethead and Paul Gilbert/Racer X for the past 6 months or so. I don't really feel the need to listen to anything else when I have two of the greatest guitarists alive right there.

So much win is in this paragraph. It's all true. I went through a phase where I would only listen to Paul and the Bucket. Good times.

Lol. Some good picks there. You should check out Bucketheadland 1 if you were a fan of Blueprints and BHLII.

The world isn't yet ready for a third installment of the sick and twisted theme park chronicles.. will we ever really be ready? Buckethead's music is so out of this world he might be from the future or something.

Jordan is FINALLY on iTunes.
The REAL truth about me.

That's too bad. That means that he'll become even more popular with Guitar Queeros and twelve year olds even though in the song he hardly flexes his songwriting and guitar playing abilities. iTunes is lame, the only thing lamer is the iTunes store.

Sorry, that was probably out of line. I'm just saying I hate iTunes and most of it's mindless users. It's the worst media player in my opinion. It has Buckethead on it, so it can't be all that bad.

I just got the OOP Japanense version of Giant Robot from Japan off eBay. It's fantastic so far, from waht I've listened too!
