I didn't actually make it was just using it as an example. I've always wanted to give papercrafting ago I just never really got round to it, but I thought what better excuse to try than if there was a NG contest.

Design a Newgrounds background (such as the current boiler room theme for the winter season)

Another Heavy Metal Contest... That would be awesome. Or something like fantasy oriented, sort of stealing for an idea posted as a thread a bit ago- make your fantasy world, or ultimate fantasy creature. It could even get sci fi, create your own space ship or something. XD I know my ideas suck but I am giving a shot at it.

I think I came up with a good one for Halloween. I know that it is very early to think about Halloween but if I don't post it I'll forget it.

Basically, turn famous NG characters into famous, easily recognizable monsters. You take characters like Pico, the Tankmen, Alien Hominid, etc. and turn them into zombies, vampires, witches, ghosts and other sorts of monsters. I think that it would be fun to see what everyone creates.

I'm sorry for the double post, but I have another idea. The next time that there is an official collab like the MGS collab, maybe you could have a contest to make the icon and menu art. That would give artists that do not animate a chance to contribute to the next big NG collab. I am not sure if you have time to do this for the Street Fighter Collab, but I think it would be a good idea in the future.

Thinking about the idea for a poster contest, what if everyone had a go at what it would look like if it were an NG themed movie? Smells like fun to me

I have another idea. You know how many of the series or collection pages have art about the series? There are some that don't. Why not have a contest to design the art for collection and series pages? It could be just for those without there own art, or it could be open to all series and collection pages. It could be part of a site redesign somewhere down the road as well.

The Halloween and Christmas headers could be updated for 2009 for example.

There could be art for each page of the Flash Portal History.

Castle Crashers collection only has the name - no art.

The Eddsworld series page could use some art.

The Gunchest page could as well.

I do not know if this is a good idea. I think that it will get people busy. Also, I think it is important that something comes of the art that is produced. It shouldn't be buried in some BBS thread to be forgotten. At least put an article in the Lit section when you have one of these contests.

Draw what you envision NG as. Could be a city or a building or an island or anything.

Hmm, I think I might have an idea.
Howabout design a new Newgrounds bot?
Like we already have P-bot, M-bot and A-bot, so the idea can be to come up with a new bot.
Designed in the same "style" as the newgrounds bots, you would also have to come up with a name for the bot and what the purpose of the bot would be.

Like, ummm, C-bot? Who would moderate the Chat? (that's if and when it's completed)

So we're still looking for more ideas, some of these are going to get used sooner or later, there is a lot of good stuff in this thread.

Does anyone have more?
