Anime is MUCH more demanding when it coems to that stuff////

In popular culture, animation in the West is not thought of as being artsy, but it is in the East. People just do not associate Western drawing styles with art, because of what our culture has done to us. This problem is nonexistant in Japan, as people view animation the same way as paintings would, which is an accurate description.

I don't think there is really a problem with people that draw anime, really. But, the real problem occurs when people refuse to expand their abilities as an artist. If you only stick to one style you're really only hurting yourself. EXPLORE! It's fun! ..sometimes...

That.. and in the art industry.. anime just isn't taken too kindly to.

Anime is a good style. When you just have the outlines on a white background it does look simple, yet it can also blend well with work which would take a lot of effort.

People who rant and rave about hatting ppl who draw anime usually cant draw it them self.
So its allot of self hating and projected anger.

Remember kids, When you point you have have three fingers pointing back at you.

Its not the fact its Manga or Anime, Some ppl just cant draw period. and dont seem to want to get better.

Hmm, I don't know. Maybe drawing it helps them express themselves.
I think anime is pretty cool, just wish the guys who do the shows would take the time to make it smooth and do proper lip syncing. In face, that's what I'll do if I make an anime.
But anime is indeed harder to animate and draw, though, yeah, definitely, you should not have just one style, you should have your own distinct style(I'm trying to develop mine).
And you guys should stop looking down on anime. Yes, it came from Japan, and yes it's abused. But, it's not so much the style itself as what you do with it, what story you tell and how you tell it.

Most guys watch it for the blood and action...or they are being perverts and watching it for the half-naked girls. I'm a bit embarassed to be a guy...
