First one I ever paid for was Goldeneye for N64 but I suppose I got a hand-me-down Nintendo system with a Super Mario Brothers 2.
I was more of a PC gamer as a kid though, so Duke Nukem 3D was one of the first ones too.

Earliest game I remember getting probably has to be Sonic for the Mega-drive or Streets Of Rage (2 I think).
