Soundfont Compatible Device Driver Sep. 29th, 2007 @ 08:10 PM Reply

First of all, sorry for creating so many topics, but I'm getting so frustrated with all this shit.

I installed Vienna 2.3 on my computer, and when I try to start it says it can't find a Soundfont Compatible Device Driver. I've searched for this on Google and the only pages that come up are people asking the same question I am and not getting answers. Ever. Does anyone know where I can download a "Soundfont Compatible Device Driver" and maybe what the Hell it is?

Hell yeah, motherfucker.

What kind of soundcard do you have?

Or is it onboard?

Right-click on my computer > properties > hardware > device manager, double click on sound, video and game controllers and then tell me what controllers it has.

Yeup...sounds like onboard. These days, it's only Creative/EMU soundcards that support soundfonts. Your onboard sound is only good for hearing and recording, but lacks editing.
