What Flash Should i Use?

I want to create my own Madness Movie what flash should i use, and if so can it be free?

the true flash created by Macromedia is the one you would ideally use, although it's not cheap - Flash CS3 is $700 or so. Flash 8 is my favorite version, because it doesn't have the shitty Adobe branding all over it.

you could always go for LiveSwif or some other free flash-making program, although they typically lack in quality. if you're tight on money, you could get the educational version of flash, which is regular ol' flash, but with a $100 price tag, and you can't make money off of it.

Liveswif is free, it probably sucks but I've never used it.

Adobe (or Macromedia) Flash is the way to go if you're serious about Flash. Get the trial to see if you actually like it and would use it regularly, then buy.

Check eBay or similar sites to see if you can find a used or outdated version and save a lot of money.
