I know I'm proably not the first person to post this, but does anyone know about Nick's WORLDWIDE DAY OF PLAY thing.
The WHOLE network is blacking out for 3 hours so kids and bored teens can go outside and get some exercise. Now, I'm not the kind of 15 year old who spends 3/4 of my day (if not used up by school), watching TV and videogame etc.
I'm also no longer a fan of Nick, we all know what's happened to our favorite childhood shows.
So I'll let you go on from there. But will this work? Will the nation get up off their asses? Will kids ACTUALLY become fit?

You do know that the average brtish is fitter than the average North American right? (not only fitter than Americans, but also fitter than Canadians). Of course british people have lots of time in their hands since their government basically babysit them by raising the minimun salaries a lot, giving socialized medicine, giving them cheap and fast transportation, less hours of work, ect. The problem is that life is too hard in the USA and that's why everyone gets tired after exhausting days and just don't have the energy to exercise and decide to watch TV till the day is over.

PS: I'm not biased against USA, Canada or UK so if you find anything in my post offensive it wasn't meant to be, just talking myself out XD.

heh heh heh kids getting exercise, that's a good one. What happens is the kids walk outside possibly to go play tag or something like that they get bored after say, six minutes and go back to play video games. Of course nowadays there's a wii to get exercise. Nintendo also, wants people to get off their fatass, but they wouldn't shut down all the wiis in the world. Plus, there are some games where you don't get exercise,but for the ones that do can be quite efficient will help you. Constantly having to stand up may help you with the gaming. boxing in wii sports can be tiring when you play a lot of rounds.
