My uncle bought his iPhone 1 month ago, he didnt hack it and it's completely as Apple wants it to be.
But the new update fucked his iPhone anyways. Lol.

Yeah, my sister told me that all her contacts and music got deleted when the update installed. She never modded it or anything either.
But the funny thing is, the update is making the iPhones "permanently inoperable" for some people.
Man, Apple sucks. First they make a phone that doesn't even have 3G, and can only use one cellular carrier without mods... then they make an update where people who made their iPhones better can't use them at all anymore.

I don't trust lots of apple products when they first get put out since there known to create major flaws on first run, not saying windows doesn't do this too.
Still though, just give it some time. Eventually they will branch out to different carriers and lower there price even more.... I hope.
