My parents split up,so we are poor.

I live with my grandma,because my Dad lives 100 miles away,and my mom is no where to be seen. Anyway my grandma works at a bank,gets about 200$ every two weeks. We have to buy grocceries and that's maybe 100 $ Plus all the bills,we have nothing left. For my birthday i had to buy a bag of browniesfor my cake,and i did not get anything ( i dont care really :|) So,any suggestions on what to do?

First off, cancel your internet. You can always use the free internet at the library if you need to.

Second, no job should pay 10 dollars a week. Minimum wage is at least 5 dollars, no matter where you live in the US, so as long as you work more than 2 hours a week, you should make more than 10 dollars. Try and work more often, or find a better job.

Next, don't get expensive stuff at the grocery store. You can save a lot by buying ramen, and various other cheap and easy foods. Make sure that you and your guardian are on the lookout for a better job. If you live in a house, sell it, and move into an apartment.

I'm sure you can think of other ways to cut expenses, just keep on going strong, and never give up, no matter how tough it might be to go on!
