Stupid Caps Lock

Don't you think Caps Lock is annoying?

I mean it's a useful tool but it's in a really annoying place. So when you're typing fast YOU MIGHT ACCIDENTLY HIT IT AND THEN SEEM RUDE (if you're not trying to be). Can't they put it up near the F Numbers?

Hey caps lock is there so you can use it fast when you write. It can be in any part of the keyboard and you would be saying the same thing. Its ok where it is. If you accidentaly push it then each time you write check before posting.

I can't remember the last time I ever hit the "Pause / Break" key by mistake. Maybe they should switch spots.

Here is a quick fix. Get a flat screwdriver (Not a philips head) and use it to pry off the capslock button.

I don't know how to put it back in though.

They usually just snap back in. If you fill the hole with epoxy, set the key back in, and let it harden, you can preserve the aesthetics of the keyboard.

One alternative can be done through software. A utility called "Remapkey" can change the meaning of each key. You can get it from Microsoft (of all places). It's in a set of other programs, though.
