First time I've ever actually tried to draw a human well...I am still working on faces so I had to look at toms pic face and tried to copy it. Other than the head the rest I did with no reference today.
And this took me like 4 hours on Friday...inked my sketch in flash, then colored it with the fill bucket (oh noes).
Link is half size original.

the anatomy is pretty good. a bit bulky, but overall, you get a c+ :3

Well, I just spent an hour and 10 minutes on my first drawing with the Corel Painter Essentials 2 program that came with my graphire. I haven't used it before and I LOVE IT!
I'll make that Zekeyspaceylizard most wanted poster now, but for now enjoy this!
I used johnnyutahs skullmace as a reference. And I stoled the colerz from the icon! OH EM JEE!
But yeah, I used the acrylic brush on 5px to make this, two layers of color, one layer of lines, and the BG layer...
Now, I'll make zekey's poster in photoshop, filters galore!

Oh yeah, one more thing (wow, this is a long post, Im a type+enterbuttonwhore), when saving a gif, I always set it to the highest color amount, but I was wondering what the difference between dither colors and replace colors meant, I know gifs cut down space by making some colors change to whatever is closer to them, but what is Dither Colors? and does threshold % do anything?

Wow, i REALLY like your vector (amidoinitrite?) art. The wallpapers, i mean. They are so simple, yet so great. Makes me wish I could do that. Oh well, practice is my friend.
So... essentially all you've done is:
1. Acquire stylistically derivative Brush packs
2. Use stylistically derivative Brush packs
3. Apply filters to pre-rendered images
I'm not seeing where the artistic "skill" comes into play, here. And I still haven't seen an honest-to-god signature picture that meets NG's size & dimension requirements (that is, 599 x 50 pixels).
