I don't think he did it either. It doesn't make sense. There's just no reason for him to rape anyone. He can easily get consentual sex from any girl he wants. There is no evidence that I've heard indicating that he hit the girl or anything like that. Everyone who knows him says that it's not in his character. They could be lying, but he did turn himself in to the police, and that does say something.

Besides, that girl came up to his room off duty in the middle of the night. What else could she have possibly come for? Did she think that they would drink tea and talk about world affairs? She came there for sex. There's no doubt in my mind about that. It sounds like she just woke up the next morning and decided that she had made a huge mistake. Then she started thinking about how she could profit from her lapse in judgement.

But who knows? Maybe I'm wrong.

But seriously, just because they're rich and famous doesn't mean that they stop being themselves. If he was violent to women before, then he's going to continue that regardless whether or not he "has to" anymore. "Not being able to get women" has nothing to do with why a man rapes. He just does. The woman's story seems very fishy to me. However, if Kobe Bryant truly is guilty, he should get what he deserves. Like I said, it's not so much physical pleasure as it is being able to be the person in power in the situation. The fact that he has a hot wife means nothing in the long run.

Back to the subject, I'm supporting Commander. No rape victim brags about getting raped. I'm speculating that she did not get raped, but instead had consentual sex. She then bragged but later her friends probably(still speculating) told her that she can file a rape charge against Kobe and get at least a million dollars by settling out of court.
