Am i the only one who's infuriated by the "next-gen" mindset? Every single good game these days come out for every system or multiple systems, the sole reason being that the butt fucking pieces of shit who own the companies are only looking to furnish their wallets with more green, as if it isn't already overflowing.
The way i see it is they develop a game for one system, and then try to port it to another with as little effort as possible, this leaves the people who don't own the system it was made for feel very cheated! God forbid that they would actually create games from the ground up on each system, because that would just make too much sense and would probably result in more sales overall.
I wish that was the only problem, but now the games made exclusively for one console are so underfunded and rushed, it's just not worth buying anymore! What happened to the days where our games would last more than 6 hours and have reasons for us to replay them? There's just no value in "next-gen" and all i see is the soul-less faces of the big 3 Gaming companies looking to maximize profit an minimize work. Today's gaming industry is becoming like a robotic assembly line, cranking out the same low quality shit over and over and over again.
It's a rarity today to find a game that's actually worth the price, especially the ps3 and 360 games that are $10 more than the pc game, and for what? An inferior port of a potentially great game? No fucking way, i wouldn't buy something like that even if i had money to wipe my ass with. You know what, I'm not buying. I'm not getting one single "next-gen" console unless some changes are made. And i think the chances of that happening are about as likely as winning the lottery; impossible.
So there you have it, fuck the ps3, fuck the 360 and fuck the wii, i'm going to stick to my pc and my god damn pure value orange box.
