I have diabetes. It hurts to pee. Yesturday my wife was yelling at me, so I struck her. Then I find out my wife's been dead for three years. WHO THE HELL DID I HIT?!?

In all seriousness, Diabetes is a common problem with a lengthy list of scary detriments involved. Luckily, it is usually manageable, so i hope everything works out for the best.

Wait... If your dad got diabetes... Doesn't that mean that now you have a risk factor for it too? Unless thats only if he had sex while he had diabetes..

Diabetes is less like a genetic disorder, and more like skin cancer. Some people have a higher susceptibility to it than others, and yes your family tree plays a part in it. And, whether or not his father had diabetes during his conception adds no increased or decreased probability to it.

Just eat right and exercise.

My dad has diabetes. I hope I don't get it, chocolate bars and coca cola are amazing. His body is in a bad way actually, hope I get longevity from my mum rather than my fucking quick-dying dad's family.
