Just saying that that the two have reached parity. The fact is, the US economy has taken a periodic downturn, that will, as it always has, rebound.
Infact it has less to do with the rising looney and more to do with the fact that your economy is in the shitter.
Even factoring in the dip in the US economy, it's still doing much better than the Canadian economy. Which makes it funny you'd say that the US economy is in the shitter, because that would mean that by contrast, Canada's economy is 3 day old shit, festering in the sewer.
Actually the US economy is performing better, it has a higher economic growth rate than Canada.
One is in a decline the other is growing.
Wow, please tell me you're not that dumb. The US economy is not in decline, only its RATE of growth has decreased, while still maintaining overall growth.
Explain to me how being in a decline is worse then being in a state of growth?
Because there is no decline in the US economy as a whole. The RATE OF GROWTH has decreased, all while despite this decrease in growth rate, it still has an economic growth rate higher than Canada's (and every other major industrialized nation).
Say Economy A is growing at 8% a year, and Economy B is growing at 5% a year. If Economy A slows to 7% growth rate, and economy B stays at 5% growth rate, economy A is still growing at a faster rate, even though its rate of growth decreased, and Economy B's rate of growth has been persistent.
The US economy always goes through fluctuations like that, it doesn't mean much. And IN SPITE of the periodic dip in performance, it is still performing better than Canada's economy.
Example, as of August, the US growth rate (extrapolated to year-level) was 4%, Canada's growth rate (extrapoted to year-level) as of august was 2.2%.
Just because the US growth rate slowed from 4% to 3.7% doesn't mean that Canada's persistent 2.2% growth rate means that the US is in decline and Canada is growing faster. In fact, it still means that the US is growing at a significantly faster rate, despite economic downturns.
Yay, Obama won. Let's thank his supporters:
-The compliant mainstream media for their pro-Obama propaganda.
-Black Panthers for their intimidation of voters.

China will never beat us..... China is a third world country with a gap so big between the rich and the poor over half there country is in poverty.... everything may be made in China but its made cheap and fast.

North America: 2 1/2
North America has about 26 countries.
however a North American currency would only apply to 2 of them, since the other's are too poor.

That would be a pretty big crash.
It hasn't been that low since the early 90's.
I doubt it's just going to crash like that. It'll go down because alot of out economy is based on exports to the states and strong CND will hurt that but it won't just rocket down. Especially since it's been around 94 cents US for the last 2 years.
