The Canadian dollar is at $0.9855 USD right now and it's rising. It hit 0.99 last night so it could very well put us at par with the states tommorow.

Which is gay cause that'll help the states with the prusuit of a North American Currency and we don't want to be taken down with you!

What's weird about this is that it will boost American exports to Canada, and weaken Canadian exports to the US... which will eventually hurt Canada's economy (which revolves heavily around trade with the US) and the Canadian dollar will go back down in value. Then it will happen all over again.

Now, before a Canadian repeats a myth and pretends that the higher value of their dollar means their economy performs better, this isn't true.

Japanese Yen in $1 US dollar: 116.21

Mexican Pesos in $1 US dollar: 10.988

you sure? because when i was in canada they except US dollars just the same they do Canadian. i also used Canadian dollars in America and they take it the same as US. Canadas stuff is too dam expensive though
