I was reading through my "God is not real" topic and some people consider that I'm just full of teen angst.
Meh. It's a controversial topic. I skimmed thorugh the topic, and it didn't seem like anybody called you a angsty teenager.
Because older adults usually don't care about what we have to say. They think we're just being stupid.
However does this is ignorant. I have a great teacher that's always interrested in having a healthy discussion.
Stereotyping someone as a angry teen, and letting it influence a discussion is ridicoules.
I know a lot of peers that have a lot to say about the wrongs of society and they are really informed people but adults don't take the time to listen to them,
Not always. There's much things that could be changed. And luckily, they have their whole teen years to think over it ;)
they don't take their thoughts seriously, or they think our thoughts are just plain "silly & cute".
:he and my stepmom laughed at everything I had to say.
How mature of them. Well, either you didn't convince them, and made some pretty flawed arguments, or, they simply think it's hilarious. Avoid such a serious discussion with them.
They did not apologize until like three hours later even though they usually apologize five minutes later.
Um, yeah.
Can you believe that? My OWN family laughed at my thoughts.
Bahaha, they have the right to. I think it's inappropriate in this situation though.
:adults don't take our thoughts seriously.
That's teen angst.
They don't think we are as capable as they are. Technically, we are young adults. I think my thoughts, as a teen, matters as much as the next guy's.
Perhabs. There's plenty of dim teenagers, and for many, puberty is a hard age. Many teenagers jump the bandwagon on certain opinions, and that's why most people aren't always taken serious.
I think they should lower the voting age (and anything else you get to do when you're 18) to 16.
Oh, god no.
