Microsoft? I bought Vista so I can play Windows games and because I have a shitty Windows-only homeschooling program. I was using a free trial of Parallels for it, but I randomly got the BSOD which couldn't be fixed so I installed Boot Camp and Vista that way. It was working fine, but then I had to activate. I went through hell in Vista just to enter my product serial number and it said it's already been activated on another computer, so I'm assuming that was Parallels.
I figured since I paid $200 for shit software that I can't even fucking use, I should be able to contact Microsoft and have the problem resolved. But no, I have to pay $60 just to fucking contact those assholes, and I can't find any support forums or shit like that. I'm not fucking paying $60 to send an e-mail, and I need Vista so I can do my homeschool shit. They have a number you can call on their support page, so I tried that. I went through hell again, just to get some long code I entered at Microsoft.com, which led me to some other fucking page that basically told me the same exact fucking shit in the error message.
Does anybody know what the fuck I can do to either contact Microsoft without paying $60 or get around activation some other way?

What is the exact error message?
I was not aware that Vista made their activation so strict.
Are you actually able to boot into the desktop? Because if you are, you can legally extend the trial to 120. Linky.
Other than that, I'm not really sure what else to tell you without the error message.

@ Afro, no problem :)
You can try one of the forums (maybe you can also go one level up and look at one of the other sub forums for help)
Or you can just mail the general support address of Microsoft and see where they point you too.
