I forgot, the day The Killers comes to my city (Chicago) is Inauguration Day. I hope they are coming to Chicago on that particular day because this is where Obama is from. It is going to be a celebration for the ridding of the shittiest president that I was forced to grow up with, George Bush.

Unfortunately I was not at Lollapalooza last year when Radiohead and Bloc Party were here, but now I can forgive myself since the Killers are going to be here 2009, probably headlining.

You lucky lad, hope you have fun. I saw them last month, along with Coldplay, at a tiny venue called Shephard's Bush Empire. It was amazing, we were so close to them and they played absolutely phenomenally, I was blown away, best night this year so far.

The 3rd UK / European single will be "The World We Live In." In the US / rest of the world the 3rd single will be the fan favorite "A Dustland Fairytale." Thanks to everyone who expressed an interest here and on the official board and helped make the decision to release "Dustland."
What is this about? Why does Europe get one song and everyone else get another? I mean of course I love them both, but I really do love A Dustland Fairytale and it's a shame that other people here won't get to hear it.

Well I did think it was an odd name at first, but then I found out that they got it from Joy Division's video for the song 'Crystal' as it was the name of the band on the drum. Then it suddenly made sense as Joy Division is obviously a huge influence on them.

The Killers are playing in my town. Only problem is that it will be extremely expensive and I could only afford lawn seats. Basically I will pay money to sit on grass as I watch the Killers on a large screen. Do you think this is worth it?
