a deity is relative. take for instance the manga Death Note: plenty of people thought that light(the main character) was god.were they wrong? the hindus believe in one kind of god,the norse another, the christians another still, are any or all of them wrong? believe what you want to believe, but i will always believe that there is no higher being that can control the lives of people in the sense that the christians believe god can.that is god to me: one who can interfere with lives of others through non-physical means(when i say physical i mean talking to)
We are the resistance, we are the underground, we are Newgrounds: home of the original cock joke.
The world takes everything too seriously.
This is not a signature.

A god is a being that has power beyond any comprehension we could ever have of the laws of physics and of nature. It is a being that does not rely on human ways and does not usually show itself to lesser beings (aka us.) The exception to this rule would be.... ME! I PWN YOU!

In my life I have had more enjoyment with a dog, than I have ever had in my upbringing with God.
So for me anyway a Dog > God.
Those who have only the religious opinions of others in their head & worship them. Have no room for their own thoughts & no room to contemplate anyone elses ideas either-More

God is a scapegoat that we use for things that we don't understand. Some of the greatest astronomers couldn't understand why planets orbit in elliptical patterns, so many concluded that God made it that way. This was util someone was smart enough to explain that to us.

A god is someone who, despite absolutely zero evidence, is worshipped by billions out of fear.

With the exception of the hundreds of other religions that don't poses the concept of eternal damnation or even one god.
Is it possible that atheism really refers to the concept of anti Christianity; almost all of the arguments made supporting atheism seem based on it?
I find it surprising just how few religious people attempt to convert others considering I've never met an atheist that didn't try to convert me and every one else in a ten mile radius.
Finally what would be the good in destroying or elevating religion I am content with the status quo.

A god is nothing more than some figure that humans make up to help quench their need to know how the world began and all that useless stuff...I myself don't believe in any religion...what's the point anyway? I don't know and I don't care, I am fine going on with life, not having a religion
The voices in my head are rambling ^^

I guess you're right, though I think anit-Abrahamic religion would be more accurate.

Gods are created out of belief, while non-deities are created via sex.
