Uh, bit of an issue with the Blams

Well, I've been here for quite a few days now (still relatively new account-wise, been around the site for a long time, though), and it seems no matter how many of the entries I zero get deleted from the portal (yes, they do get deleted), I retain only a single blam. Why might this be?...

Clear your cache [f5 i believe] and then check your account "My account" in the upper right hand corner. If that dosen't work it may just be a lag associated with the redesign.

-You were logged in whilst voting

are you sure that you actually were loged in and voted 0 or 1 cause you have 2 be loged in in order to get blam points also they mite not of actually been deleted check here to see if they have or not also they might have gone through the portal but out of the 50 newest submissions

Many times when an entry disappears, it is merely whistled and not yet deleted. In that case you don't get a blam point.

Well, I've blammed basically every kittykrew movie so far, and about 5-6 seem to have been blammed in the last few days alone, so I dunno why I'm stuck at one.

Yes I was logged in.

Most of my blams occured while still doing votes required for depositing experience points for the day, so I was DEFINITELY logged in.

I have quite a few of them from doing "overtime" voting as well.

I honestly do not know why this is occuring, although the fifth repetition of the same advice was very helpful >_>

You know what, I think he may be on to something here. Just now, I did blam about 4 submissions. They are in the graveyard but the NG log says I only have one for the day.

Thats the problem. Most KK flashes are not blammed. Just vote 5 for the protection point.

It's not the spam groups.

Not even joking, the portal is broken. I kept track of what I blammed the last 2 days and I have not gotten any points for them even though they are in the graveyard. What I think might be happening is bigger stat whore than me saw this was happening and are just protecting everything.

Thing is... why do I care about that. It doesn't matter if the person who submits these things is bloody Tom, if they get blammed you're supposed to get a blam point, and at least three KK movies have been blammed that I zero-voted. To date I have two blam points. Something is wrong.

Just vote according to how you feel about the movies. Not for points and not because of the creators. Bad flash movies do pass through often but they fall off the edge of the portal and never make any awards. So the voting system still works.

That's what I've been doing, but a bunch of movies I zero-voted because they are useless portal spam that is in no way, shape, or form amusing (such as those stupid KK videos <_<) that ended up in the graveyard have given me no blam points.

I mean, I don't go around voting to get blam/protection points, I go around voting because it's a good thing to do, giving feedback to people, but when the system is supposed to work one way and in fact it does not, that is rather disheartening and annoying.

But, since nobody can really help without any specific information (which I have yet to give, my apologies) I will begin to record flashes that I have blammed that have, indeed, landed in the graveyard.

You don't get a blam point for flash that are manualy deleted by the owner of it or an Admin, you only get the blam point if it is automatically deleted.
