Did you save it as a .gif or .jpeg?
Paint, just save as >> drop down to .gif or .jpeg

Other problems, usually save as or export and then choose optoins.

your issue could be that it is set to transparent, a lot of image editing programs have the default option set to transparent, and the gif settings still think it's transparent, even if there's no transparency on it.

what program are you using to save the gif?

I didn't SAVE it, I made it on fireworks! But when I went to "upload pic" and I selected it, It didn't work.

okay well after you MAKE it you gotta SAVE it. if you're using fireworks, you probably saved as a png.

do a file > save as, and then chose gif.
